The third verse and the chorus get a lot of love, but I have to say that the second verse might be my favorite lyrically:
 
There's a girl who sings "Hotel California"
Not because she loves the notes or sounds that sound like Florida
It's because she's in a world preserved, only a few have found the door
It's like Camarillo, only silver mirrors running down the corridor
 
Who else is writing like this? 

I don't think the wordiness is an issue, the songs are just going to get more wordy  She definitely would have performed LMLYLAW, Tulsa Jesus Freak, Breaking Up Slowly, Arcadia,  If You Lie Down With Me, and Nectar/Living Legend lol

She has so many hits, she can just pick and choose a few, different every time. She can do btd, summertime sadness and blue jeans, one night. Then she can swap btd for young and beautiful, then blue jeans for lust for life (and actually sing on it) etc etc
 
but let’s be real, there won’t be a tour in the first place 

I'm very much a listener that gets more impressed by great lyrics than anything else (obviously sound is important too. However IDGAF if she releases piano ballads for the rest of her career as long as the lyrics and atmosphere are there), so I know that this album is about to destroy me and join Honeymoon for the crown jewel of her catalog.

Totally agree!!! The way this verse repeats the structure of « there’s a tunnel » / « there’s a girl » and the piano notes in the background are so beautiful!!!

i don't think i've been this obsessed with lyrics from her since Honeymoon and maybe the Russian poetry line from Blue Banisters
 
I love her poetic songs 

BTD songs are really fun live, but Miss Thing has 9 albums already! I wish she'd give them a chance to shine as well
