Born to Die and Strange Love have the same percussion rhythm(beat? Idk..) and it’s always felt a bit suspicious to me x

then post-aka we had the previous 2 along with lana ray, lana del ray (with an a), lana ray del mar & another one i can’t remember
so i’d just use lana del rey (with an e) for all of them for consistency 

But it would've been so nice to hear the original Ultraviolence, or whatever it was going to be called before Auerbach, and what sound she was trying to go for. Since the untouchable 5 were most likely not final versions. I like to think she intended to release a 2013 album with these songs before possibly releasing something darker like Ultraviolence bc UV was such a drastic departure sonically from her previous work and TU5 were more in-tune with the likes of Paradise imo

Can’t believe Totl 3 was indeed being worked on but they decided to stop it in favor of her debut like?? People were demanding it. She was the queen of Halloween. These beats are one of the best things we got in these last 2/3 years and by the sound of it they could easily be an amazing follow up to Totl 1&2 (better I would risk it) the beat for Blood Sucker, Ghost and Take My Life… wow ladies we really lost it

i don't think she ever recovered from artpop - joanne was really good and i think it's incredibly underrated but even then it was a very introspective and restrained record - and everything else since joanne has really been just an attempt to pander to a greater audience with varied success, it's sad

the lyrical content there 
it deserved/deserves to be released like omg it's top tier in her discography... she hit us right into our souls

Tbh I think needle and thread is one of her best songs tbh
