Lana, not Billie, is the voice of "our generation." So many people, late to the party, are just waking up to that fact, and even to her existence. Despite all the hardships, obstacles, and press attacks, Lana has persevered and had a truly admirable career.

I think she should just perform whatever songs she wants to from her catalog, which is pretty vast at this point, even excluding unreleased material. I wouldn't want her to sing Video Games or Summertime Sadness because fans expect it. We should want her to be true to herself and what she's feeling in a given moment, even though I'm sure the setlist is established in advance.

At this point, she's almost like Tori Amos in regard to the size of her catalog; so if Lana were to sing two or three of your favorites while you're at her show, I think you have to be grateful. Like most artists, she's probably going to do more material from recent or new albums than older ones.

There used to be quite a few members here who had a very superior attitude and made LB a miserable experience. Thank goodness most are gone.

I think that from September 2015 to March 2016, the songs recorded for the album were pretty much in the demo/unfinished stage, I think since April-July 2016 2016 things took bigger turn where she started finalizing some of the songs and after some time touring in July-August 2016 she started having more new ideas since the world "politically" started becoming heated and her uncle died. Then in Autumn 2016 she started recording some of the new stuff but then Trump became president the new ideas came and came and then in Spring 2017 she started dating G-Eazy which resulted more ideas lol. So the album is basically a pile of ideas and thoughts she went through post-Honeymoon.

From a French magazine in 2017:
"Two of the songs from the new album were composed while we were finalizing the previous one, I can't stop working, I love being in the studio, I feel good there."

I feel like the only reason LFL is associated with being witchy is just bc of the album trailer and nothing else  And the trailer isn't even that witchy when you really analyze it
Also, scifi retro-futuristic LFL 1.0 makes way more sense than witchy LFL 1.0

honestly i have no idea and to this day im most assured it was made up because we have never had any evidence of that stupid witchy theme how i want that album would finally get rid of those allegations because apart trailer nothing about lfl era reminds witchy in a slightest like i seriously have no idea why it became such strong thing because spacey ≠ witchy

The sheer amount of songs for this album is so crazy too me I'm mean it makes sense with the long time she worked on the album and the amount of the stuff that happened during its creation but still its crazy AND the fact that we've heard like two of them. There is such a wide range kf different styles based off the titles alone

california 2014 100% wasn’t on here, we know of 1 of tracklist, there were 18 tracks with best american record, california 2017 and yosemite and minus change, and another og later tracklist contained 20 songs and there were 16 released songs + all those 4 political outtakes that were the last 4, i definitely don’t think the registration of those songs tells us anything about tracklist order as songs were registered at different time
however we don’t absolutely know anything about july2015- november2016 period, the most mysterious and the most intriguing period, where im sure there was definitely another version of lfl finished with absolutely other tracks as the most of tracks we’ve eventually got are all from 2017

It's hard to describe what I feel a year after the release of Ocean Blvd. Sure, most of the songs are good, some really good, but the whole album somehow doesn't give me the same as the previous albums, it's her most experimental, I think. Something is missing, but I can't say exactly what it is. Anyway, happy first birthday!  🎈

I love COCC too (though BB remains my favorite---and BB also does not get the love it deserves). The stark Yosemite is a career high point for me. Wild at Heart is pure fun.

Like I said before, spring will be filled with new releases, so I wouldn’t mind if she delayed the lead for Lasso to this summer. But  a standalone single would be nice in the following weeks, around Coachella, or a nice unexpected collab

Nectar Of The Gods always had and always will have a special place in my heart  and it kinda hurts me to see it is one of the least streamed songs on the album But having it on streaming services and on vinyl is still a win even if it's a YouTube rip
