Putting out a Cinnamon and How to Disappear dual release will save this era. MAC and VB are two of my favorite Lana songs, so these views are disappointing

not y’all stanning the pancake faced hm cover and trashing this photo bc it’s unflattering. it’s literally one of the only chuck photos of quality there’s a reason why it was displayed at an art gallery. it’s purpose isn’t to be a flattering vogue cover it is all and everything early pre btd lana was about.

The music she released and teased have a whole world of asthetic.. Its unfair she just give us a poor video of she and dancers having fun.. She knows she can do better.. Im mean, the album name is one of the biggest artist of USA in past century and she is coming with Romero Britto asthetics

People hate the VB cover, but I don't mind it at all compared to MAC. The reason it doesn't look good isn't because of her "no makeup look". I think if she had let her hair down in a nice way and hired a different photographer for it, those simple changes would've made it better. I love this natural look phase, but hate the pic. I want her to take some risks and go above and beyond, not be afraid of making an intense and daring record that exceeds a black and white music video she filmed of her foreground dancers by a fence with her iPhone and "I'm feeling all my fucking feelings."
 
But don't get me wrong, Venice Bitch definitely exceeded expectation, I hope she keeps that same energy throughout the upcoming record.

I don't even think it's necessarily the look itself, it's just ... one of those pics where you look bad and there is no obvious reason for it. Maybe it's vad light, a bad facial expression ... whatever It's one of those pics you take and instantly feel bad about because it makes you look 1000times worse than you actually do.

I just hope she’s done with all the album stuff. Photo shoots, album cover, track list. I want to know that she’s at least done or she’s getting close to it. Remember she says she only likes to share when she’s close to being finished with a project so maybe that means she’s been almost done with this record since late September early October and she’s just putting final touches on it now and is almost done with final touches stage

Like others have said, it's not the fact she hasn't released music in so long, it's the fact that she sets a certain deadline after explaining her situation, but making it seem as if everything's good to go, then not coming through with it. I know life happens, but I've never followed an artist who uses that many excuses before. And I can't understand at all how her counterparts who have less of a privilege as her, have already surpassed her. Other artists have their personal demons and issues with their own labels, but they're still doing what they love. When Charli XCX was going through a rough time touring, she made it clear to her fans that she would take a break and leave the joint tour with Bleachers. Since then (3 years ago) she's been releasing her music despite the problems she has with her label. Girl, how do you take a year to do a song while artists like Lana can make an album in about 15 months? And it's not even about the time it takes either, what I mean is that there are legit unknown artists rn making music in the comfort of their own homes bc they don't have the money or platform Sky has, but they're hustling, doing what they love out there. She seems shady af bc she does things like- idk if it was last year or what, but she captioned a pic with a date and her fans (obviously) thought it meant a date for new music, but then she got upset when they were upset it ended up being for something else. Why not just say what the date was for to avoid confusion??? It's one thing for your mental/physical health to be so bad, it hinders your ability to do your job (THAT, I have empathy for), it's another thing to use your health to guilt trip your fans for having expectations after you kept making promises to them (THAT is shady af to me). That's why I said earlier she should be honest with herself and stop teasing dates or album announcements.

I never thought of separating some songs into an EP, so I did yesterday like you did with a few switches here and there and OMG. It sounds even better than my first rearrangement! This confirms that this album should've been split. Thanks for this post. I even added C-WIMM back and I don't like that song.
