I didn’t hate the poem, it’s just that ‘Tesla mom cars’ line is so annoying, like when she sang ‘on the ipad’ in HIADT like she’s trying to weave in some futuristic-esque sponsorship or sumn.
 
The second half of the poem was good though.

IDK about you, but I love her ART. Not here because I subscribed to the random-rich-LA-chick-blog. It's cool if she's happy, but if that gets us terribly bad "pOeMs" like those, I can still think it's terribly bad.

The “Tesla mom cars” line

I’m here for her feeling happier, hanging out with friends, trying to take care of herself - who wouldn’t want that? I’m just not feeling that poem, but I think I get what kind of state of mind she’s in lately. She had thoughts she needed to get out but didn’t fit for a song. I think she’s aware that the poems aren’t all especially good, which was why she was hesitant at first with sharing them to the world. They might not be interesting to everyone, I guess she just had a need to write down things that was going on around her.
 
But yeah, I guess I was expecting better lines since she’s mentioned wanting to be a poet once, “I’m a writer first” (which I guess she is in a way, she’s written SO many songs and lyrics) and the lyrics for this album sounds better (to me) than the lyrics we got in LFL. But we’ve only read two poems so far so I won’t be too quick to judge.

Superstar is great. Yeah, the lyrics aren’t as complex as her previous work, but I don’t mind it. I love both the production of HH and this one. I can tell it’s going to turn off a lot of people, but it’s been 4 years and I get with the headspace she’s in, she wants to go in a more light-hearted direction. Anyway, I’m here for it.

Superstar is great. Yeah, the lyrics aren’t as complex as her previous work, but I don’t mind it. I love both the production of HH and this one. It’s most likely a poem. It lacks consistency with me. The first few lines are going great, then you’re hit with, “instead of carriages we have Tesla mom cars”. Maybe it’s not supposed to be that serious, but it’s not something I prefer.

Maybe. Or maybe she used it because it rhymed. lol Next to blue, Lana’s usually singing about June/summer. I don’t think I’m going to buy the poetry book.

It's March 2nd. In case you missed it - exactly 3 weeks ago, Sky seriously implied something was coming in March. She now has 29 days to release something. How long do you guys think till the inevitable delay? Or do you think she is just not going to mention it at all and have an online meltdown about being bullied on April 3rd?

I doubt this since I got the impression she went to Jesse’s and MGK’s studios to record the songs with them. So that leads me to believe whatever they recorded is in the hands of their team, not hers, so it’d be a bit of a hassle for her to get the songs for her own record, change it up a bit and have her own input on the production since she’s now very particular on that when it comes to music on her albums.I used to think HIADT- back when it was still Sylvia Plath- would turn into something else like 13 Beaches. Still love the song, but let’s just say it’s better to have no expectations... lol

After having heard both Handmade Heaven and Superstar, I get why Lana and her didn't collab: their albums are going in complete opposite directions. 

I don't see why everyone's complaining the production is quite similar to handmade heaven beat wise.
