It seems that the drama is especially high in other artists' threads and in world news threads, especially when it comes to hot-topic debates. While LanaBoards welcomes opinions and discussions of different viewpoints, it is important that these opinions are shared and discussed in a respectful manner. As stated in our rules, LanaBoards will not tolerate any posts that are meant to be purposely inflammatory (flaimbaiting to intentionally start an argument) rude, hateful, insulting, or otherwise crossing a line, and members violating this rule will be warned and given restrictions at our discretion. This is something the moderator team is going to be taking very seriously as it is our mission to have LanaBoards be a safe and welcoming space for all.
Something we've especially been noticing a rise in is personal attacks towards other members and people including other artists, which is something we won't tolerate. I’m not feeling the “there are multiple versions of Girl, so confusing with multiple female artists” theory. That would kinda make the Lorde version less special and run the whole concept of it into the ground. A big part of what makes this so monumental is because it’s Lorde, and the layers behind that. If she did this with Rina or whoever it would be such a non-event. I still see people throwing Marina’s name around (give it up) but their whole beef was never that deep and there’s really no depth to their dynamic. Their beef literally started and ended with Marina sending her fans after her for doing a similar photoshoot as her almost a decade ago, and present day they’re not friends. There’s really nothing more to it. It would not match the concept of the song. 

last year in lana fandom was a total fever dream  like "on tour lana played the ride monologue before the song itself and showed old lizzy grant clips as it played and then also when her album came out she took out one singular billboard in her ex's hometown and posted about it on instagram to be petty and she soundchecked I Talk To Jesus at one point and she also opened up with A&W followed by Y&B and its a total sonic whiplash and-" OK GRANDMA LETS GET YOU BACK TO BED !
