What she’s saying she wants from the album isn’t coming across so far- there’s a random ocean theme but she wants Brit pop inspired songs, rave moments and psychedelia inspired production.

look i have nothing against a good edm here and there but grimes' transition to the straight people dj piss music is rather random 
also her coachella set was disastrous and plain embarrassing lmao

the songs from the new album she played sure sounded good, a lot better than what I was expecting tbh but what happened tonight was inexcusable. I was actually enjoying what she was doing at the start, but then things started to go downhill really fast. she's always making her stuff last minute, not to mention the amateurism in DJing, given the fact she's already been doing this for a few years now. and then she made everything a lot worse when she stopped multiple times to try to explain what was going on and then she would scream in frustration like  it is the most grimes shit ever to happen but still reached a new low. it made lana's mic situation not a big deal at all, this is going to be named the worst coachella performance of this year without a doubt

her artistic downfall is kinda crazy not even 10 years ago she was releasing a pop masterpiece like what happened

I really hope with the future music she really leans into this Cyndi Lauper / 80s synthpop style that she's been giving recently from the Tiny Desk, GLB and Coachella. Like, her visuals are everything too. She really gives. She is the next big thing. Number one single for her is on my 2024 bingo card... 

she literally is the BEST thing happened to music in 2020s i swear. LIKE.. . ... she deserves the WHOOOOOOLE world so fucking much. the lyrics, the vibez, the mood, her vision and desire to be the best at what she does can be seen from every aspect. came across her a few weeks ago but the last time i was HOOKED on a artist was like YEARS ago with lana/marina lol.
