Luckily I had a friend that helped/encouraged me to stay to wait for her. She came out after 1am with her dad and Sean. I’d guess a good 50 people waiting. Mostly we talked to her dad, he showed us the pics he posted of Chuck since it was her birthday. He was TOTALLY cute. But she did come down to our side of the crowd. My friend gave her a pin and asked for a selfie and then shoved me in front and said he’s seen you 19 times! And that caught her attention and she started to talk to me.
 
She talked to me! She asked me my name. She said she recognized me from down in the front. I was at barrier. I don’t know if she was blowing smoke up my ass by saying she recognized me but she said it. She said you gave me life down there. She actually said that! I told her thank you from the bottom of my heart for the music. I think it’s important to say that when you meet someone like this. I did say this is nice to get to say Hi to you and thank you but really thank you from the bottom of my heart for your music. She asked me where I was from and I said Indiana and you should play Indianapolis again and she said she is in April! Secret knowledge!!!
 
Then she grabbed my phone and took two photos of us. Two! I did stick my head on another girls selfie before that lmao. But she took an actual selfie with me. I never thought that would happen. I really didn’t. I leave that to the kids. And I would still go to all of her shows if it hadn’t. But the main thing is she talked to me. A whole minute in that little crowd. She was the nicest person.
 
My friend and I backed out of the crowd to let her go to more people and she did. I was very surprised she did what she did. This Nashville show was a lot bigger than the other venues of the tour. And with Chuck’s birthday (her brother was also there) I didn’t think she’d come out to talk to everyone individually like she did. But she did. She was just so nice. I had the best night.

Found these with Pat Del Rey.  They're not super current, but it shows at least they were able to hang out casually in 2014-2015.  Maybe the mom is just super shy.  She looks exactly like Chuck.  And Lana really took after her father, before she got her nose and lips and cheeks done.

Lana on the other hand. Please full sets, 90 minutes minimum. Rehearse, rehearse, rehearse! Say goodbye at the end of the show. Wave to everyone there, front back side. Stand there and let your fans love you. It's part of the deal.

Woke up to see some nice clips of Lana but dismayed at the screaming people trying to sing along. I oppose violence to my fellow humans but a yellow pages to the head is justified occasionally.

As long as they aren't ripping off her official merch or anyone else's artwork or trying to promote it as official merch it's nbd. If you buy it you're supporting an independent artist who needs the business more than a millionaire. 

I knowwwww, those drums, ugh! And that guitar! I felt like I was the only one bopping along to the song while Lana was busy with the crowd lol.

Even if you couldn't see a lot of the crowd I could hear them in a lot of the vids. That is my favorite part of any Lana footage I see. I love seeing the opening when she comes out and the crowd screams. Glad there was that one from that journalist or whatever he does. I get frustrated when so many clips from shows on YouTube are great and end 2 seconds after she is done. For me play it our 10 more seconds so I can hear the crowd!!!!!!
 
Lana seemed happy and the vocals sounded good considering that we are hearing something recorded from the audience and not a feed directly from her mike.
 
I have stated in my videos and on here that I am not a fan of Lana at festivals and these type of mega audience events. But people show up and make the best of it.
 
As far as the set list remember Lana is not our little possession and should cater to super fans with deep tracks etc. She is a huge name around the world and she needs to satisfy some sort of common denominator when she performs for those who buy tickets. I know most in the audience know all her album tracks anyway but I thing she has  to take a broader view. (and sometimes laziness may creep in)
 
The comments about security etc. are frustrating. I went through hell when I had the good fortune to see her at the House of Blues in Boston so I know how crazed Lana fans are. (I have seen her 5 times. I don't have the resources like "Win" to see her every time) The venues don't know who they are dealing with. (Watch what you say to me, careful who you're talking to!)
 
This is older but worth a watch if you want to see madness. Enjoy.
 

All part of the fun. What's a concert without thinking you just might die.

After opening with Born to die she said “More like Born to live with a crowd like that!” and was very smiley There were soooo many people, someone said there were only a few tickets left and the meadow holds like 20.000 people or something, it was crazy. The crowd was super animated from where I was standing (not super close to the stage but considering the crowd I thought it’ll be worse), singing loudly and constantly. Great atmosphere.
 
She also said she was listening to traditional Irish music this morning and was in awe of their storytelling qualities, how long the songs are and how they tell such stories, and she was hoping to bring some of that folk sensibility to Ireland.
 
She replaced “Hot summer nights, mid July” with Hot Dublin nights. Or was it “Those summer/Dublin nights seemed long ago” lmao sorry I can’t remember.
 
Doin time’ was a mega treat, I’m an old person who listened to Sublime in high school and it was really cool to hear her version live.
 
Towards the end she was deciding what song to do last and people were screaming all sorts of things. Someone shouted OLD MONEY and the guys next to me weren’t happy because they wanted something new, then one of them shouted FEED YOUR CHILDREN lol.
 
I was hoping that noodle haired buttface won’t make it across the pond to Ireland but got an annoying feeling when she said all her buddies are in the front row, then when she went down to meet people I had to watch her call him one of her favourite people and squeeze his cheeks on big screen and it was like someone spat in my face. She pisses me off so much with her “I don’t care why people are nice to me as long as they’re nice to me” crap sometimes, like YOU REALLY SHOULD CARE! I know it’s super petty but it’s really shitty of her to keep enabling that douche. It comforts me he is unpopular on LB though and I had a few laughs reading comments about his noodle ass.
 
Overall the show was great. I see some of you hate White mustang and Change etc, but as someone who last saw her during the Paradise tour I haven’t heard most of the songs live. It super sucks how short her shows are now though. She shortened Ride (skipped the bridge), Off to the races, and more, and I just realised she didn’t sing West coast, boo hiss. I though this time it would be different since she was headlining, but it was just like a festival. I half think she did Venice bitch last so she could stretch the show to 1 hour 20 minutes because after one hour she seemed to be wrapping it up. She tried to say they only have one more song but that they let her know she has two extra minutes. Like, don’t front, we know the curfew is at bloody eleven and it’s five minutes past ten so don’t you prattle on about only having two minutes. So yeah, short and sweet I suppose. Her vocals were great and she looked lovely and in good spirits. And flashed us a peace sign, how can you even be mad haha. She spent quite a while at the barricades so she made lots of people and one gargoyle very happy.

i dont give a fuck if i seem jealous because thats obviously where a lot of this comes from as well, and im not afraid to deny it. you fly to another country. you bring your posey and you take more barricade spots away from people who live in that country and dont have the privilege to travel the WORLD and see her. at a point it just comes to be where are your morals? good for them! he and his friends have jobs (i assume) spend their money the way they want! but its always good to look at life from the side that comes in contact with you. some of these people have been waiting in ireland for years for lana to come back. but i wonder how he got from second row to barricade. who did he push out? correction - i hope he didnt have to push anyone out to get a spot.

this is giving me flashbacks to when i was center barricade at my ONLY LaTM show and the other curly haired stalker with dark hair was next to me and was like....trying to discretely shove me to the side so he could be dead center.....lord

People always have something negative to say. You realize lighting and shadows have alot to do with how someones face appears in photos right? Shes traveling, don’t expect her to look perfect lol 

I keep thinking about Christina Grimmie and how people ignoring someone's obsession ended her life. I reached out to the LAPD via twitter and email. I don't know if they'll respond or if there's anything they can actually do about it, but I'd rather at least attempt to tell them than stay silent and risk the worst :/
