How can some of y'all see a problem with everything tho... She's literally just saying she has been kissing that person so she probably got it too, how in the world is that disrespectful? I doubt people in 2023 are going to drag her for that, literally no one will care except for the 10 woke twitter users as always
 

I get what you mean in the sense that this is her first "big" album since then but I also think everything that's come since NFR are important stepping stones to reach this album, I don't think Lana was ready to explore some of the stories that she's telling now. Violet came first and was her first foray into more experimental performance, and then Chemtrails allowed her to wander the countryside aimlessly as she tried to figure out what comes next, and then Blue Banisters had her start digging into her family history. I think all of those experiences were really important for her to reach the point where she can explore her family and her life as a whole in the really theatrical and incisive way we seem to be getting on this album. 

I just don't understand what's so difficult to wrap one's head around the concept that Lana releases music for herself and for music, not to release the biggest "chart smash" or to appease others and that's okay. The fact that she continues to go the less obvious route by releasing The Grants instead of something like Taco Truck should be the most glaring example of that

There's something so beautiful about the way this song builds and how it really is such an ode to all of the people and things Lana loves. It's one of the most cathartic tracks I've heard from Lana to be honest. The strings and the harmonies are so emotionally poignant. This track is just one that hits for me, and it gets better with each listen.

I just know there's going to be a sick transition on this album that will be cut off when you listen to the vinyl 

Totally agree. I wish he just kept his mouth shut about it; now we’ve all built up excitement and expectation. I’ve said it before,  Bozo’s “announcements” are almost always to the effect of “I know something you don’t know :)”
like either tell us or stfu and let Lana’s announcement BE the announcement

I personally find Fingertips so compelling, I can't imagine thinking it's boring but to each their own
