She may lose a few fans but I think she will be okay. As others have said, people (especially Twitter) like to focus on their problematic person of the week and then move on. Also, a lot people misread the post and thought she said she was not feminist, so her original point is getting buried by all of these other issues, some of them not even being true.

today i think we saw a side of lana that we don't get to see too often. she's very volatile and emotional right now and I'm honestly a bit scared for her.

This is exactly what she did to Chase - they weren't seen together for awhile, he kept liking her stuff, and then all of a sudden she unfollowed him.
 
I think she started ghosting Seany around Valentine's Day. Maybe they tried to be friends and it didn't work for her? Who knows.
 
Speaking of Chase, he hasn't put anything up for months and today he put up a clip of David Bowie talking about selling out, etc

I think her speech has absolutely nothing to do with him.
She just seems to want to throw away everything that no longer serves her...

Bitches I saw Lana's post at the exact moment she posted it (it was 5am here) and guuuuurls, I was in complete shock, I couldn't believe what I was reading and I felt really anxious and wanted to scream out of joy and happiness. Can't wait for the new lyrics and album, I hope she feed us with songs in the same structure of BTD/UV. Maybe she could include Life Is Beautiful?

So, either 1. He is behind this rant and she’s lowkey pissed at him for making her “question” the music industry 2. They a breakup that is worse than we know
3. He made her see how the industry is, she changed after realization, they broke up, she can’t stand that she’s not in line with old thoughts anymore. and maybe he moved on or stopped texting

He definitely comes across as THAT patronising type of guy who tells you to calm down even tho that pisses you off even more.

Maybe sean told her something in private about all this controversy and it was the last straw for her

I honestly think a lot of this drama comes down to Lana's wording and how its been misconstrued. If she had started the post with the thesis instead of name dropping those singers people might not be overreacting right now. Unfortunately Lana has a very train-of-thought style of writing that follows emotions instead of logic, and although I think almost everyone would agree with what she's trying to say, using those artist's names and acting massively on the defence is causing damage.
 
Part of me is glad though.  If we lose all the fans that close their ears when she sings UV, then good.
