Not to be over dramatic, but I cried while reading the pitchfork review. I can't believe that after all these years Lana is finally getting the respect she deserves :')

Holy fucking shit a 9.4!!!!! This is.. She really is one of the greats of this decade for sure and she's finally getting recognized properly for her talent. The growth she displayed as an artist is rewarding her with a new peak in her career, not commercially, just as an artist and a name in the music world. Damn

This is such a wild score for pitchfork. They really put her up there with the greats. It’s what she deserves.
  10. plastiscguy liked a post in a topic by ilovetati in NFR Metacritic/Review Thread
    So, to be added:

    94 - Pitchfork
    91 - Consequence of Sound
    90 - Variety
    80 - Observer

And a 91, 90, and 80 to be added. CoS and Variety should both carry quite a bit of weight and Observer usually scores far below the average, so they may help bump some as well.

A critic for a well-read and respected company not only lavishing NFR with the praise it deserves but pointing out the unfair and sexist bullshit she put up with (and still puts up with) at the beginning of the year? The revenge of lana del rey indeed
