Still thinking about how BoZ posted yesterday that so much of this album is learning how to let go of Lana's old style to appreciate the new, and it reinforces my belief that Lust for Life was the last gift for the fans of that old style, and she'll continue going deeper and perfecting her craft in so many ways, cementing herself as one of the greatest generational artists. All of her albums are important in some way to the big picture 

I really like the title track but I'm not the biggest fan of the vocal style at times. I understand that's she's trying to sound dreamy and wistful but at some parts of the song it just sounds like she's bored and can't be bothered to enunciate properly.

I like it more than the original. Thank you. That's just what it needed.

As long as the interlude holds some kind of substance I think they're important to the flow and meaning of an album, like Honeymoon needed Burnt Norton to make it flow the way it does...like "into the rose garden" going into Religion is just

White dress is kinda cool, I can’t chill with the rest I’ll admit.
I don’t think it’s his production for me-it’s the mixing-if you’ve ever done a mixing lesson his work just sounds wrong.
 
I know there’s different ways but I can’t for the life of me work out why you’d want a vocal to be hidden in some parts and have a flat instrumental.

Last night I couldn't talk about anything you were talking about because I was busy. Regarding that insider saying that LDR9 sounds like HM X UV, please! That sounds so much like fan service that it sounds so unrealistic, it may be true, but why use two albums to compare a new one? All of Lana's albums sound DIFFERENT, so using two existing ones to talk about a new one sounds like  the vaguest description in the world.
