I showed this video to my cousin who is a graphic designer and video editor, he told me the that the masks the people are wearing in the background are fake. They were added in and this was actually shot in December but they wanted to throw us off. COCC is coming this weekend

The fact that she said the album is coming “soon” and violet is coming “this month” makes me think we aren’t getting the album this month 

Maybe she meant official, high-budget videos or that this will be released first, because she called FILY/TG her first video from NFR but she filmed the triple video the year before! 

Omg just woke up and saw the video ... so the album IS NOT coming out on Saturday but perhaps lmlylaw will be. I’m sooo devo. I wanted Tulsa Jesus freak first lol

Sheridan’s “#ChemtrailsOverTheCountryClub was referring to the mv and not the album 

Sorry if someone has already said this some or all of this. Violet is being released as a physical book on Sep 29th, and Lana said "VBBOTG is being released this month". Today is Sep 1st, so if she is referring to the physical release of Violet, then today is the only day that she could have recorded this message. However, Lana said "before you even see this, you'll have heard another song called 'Let Me Love You Like a Woman'". If Lana did record this message today with the intention of sharing it today, she would not have said this because she would obviously know that LMLYLAW is not yet out. This strongly suggests that this message was not recorded recently. Violet was released as an audiobook on July 9th, so I speculate that Lana filmed the music video and filmed this message in early July or late June. In early July, Violet was coming out as an audiobook "this month", and Chemtrails was also "coming soon". If the music video was in fact filmed in early July, then the video she was filming recently is for the second single, and she should have everything prepared for a Sep 4th/5th release.

She said that we'd hear LMLYLAW before we saw the music video. If we were going to hear the whole album before the video I don't know why she'd single out one track.

Even if she shot the cover on set of that video, the album could still come digitally on the 4th. 

We know she was on that lush set where she also filmed today’s Instagram video. That was August 29th. Let’s assume they retouched, edited, and finalized the cover the day after, on August 30th. Then today, got it approved by managers and her label. Quick. 
 
Album only needs to be uploaded to streaming services a day or two in advance. She could upload it on September 3rd for it to come out the 4th. 
 
In her August 2019 interview with KROQ, she said that The Weeknd, for example, could finish a record and put it out the next day, he did that with My Dear Melancholy. I don’t keep up with her, but I think some people on here pointed out that Charli XCX was still recording songs the day before her most recent album even came out? And the album was being mastered in July, which means it was basically done in terms of there being anything left to do in regards to the actual songs. 
 
I still have faith (you may call it delusion, and that’s okay) but ultimately we’ll find out soon - and whatever happens, it’s Lana we’re talking about! She never disappoints.

Only Lana could post an announcement video and not announce the release date lollll in my head cannon it’s not coming this month since she said “Violet comes out this month” but said the album is coming soon

Also - she had the opportunity to say the album wasn’t coming on the 5th in that video and she didn’t; surely she knows that people are expecting it to be and she did confirm that Violet would be delayed; it may have been last minute but she was robbed, you can’t fault her for not expecting to have to delay her project if her bearings aren’t together.
 
I think she purposely ignored saying anything to just reiterate the September date 12 hours before she drops it - but we shall see! I’m excited either way!

the pictures she posted last month on the car wasn’t for a video since she clearly said “the first video”

at least we heard SOME kind of news. even if it's not a final release date, we now have confirmation that stuff is happening in her world...
