I was gonna say this too but I wanted to find @Clampigirl’s Chemtrail timeline to see when Lana first mentioned White Hot Forever. Lana and Sean were dating by the end of 2019 (Assuming they talked for a month or two before making it ‘official’) it could have been one of the first songs she wrote when she was with him and happy

I really think she purposely watched what she said during Anne’s interview, and what she said shouldn’t be taken at face value. She said in November she was working on two albums so obviously she had a handful of songs she loved for two albums, and she probably didn’t want to talk about it in her interview with Anne because she was there to talk about her first big single and new album, which was still over a month away. 
 
Ive always said, I think when she was taking about not having the 4 songs she loved, she meant during the creating of Chemtrails. She never saw Chemtrails as a finished album and waited months to submit it, incase she could ‘finish’ it. Of course she wasn’t going to have 4 next songs, she didn’t even feel like Chemtrails was finished yet 
 
she started recording with Zach at the absolute earliest in November, because she posted that video of her singing the hymn Joe Biden quoted, and her post said ‘taking a break from recording’. In that same time frame she tweeted a rock, and that she was working on two albums. 
 
My only fear is this is another May 2020 scenario where she feels almost finished enough to announce RCS, but she might not actually be finished yet and might hit a road block that’s going to effect when it comes out. 
 
plus I still think the label is going to be hesitant to release a new album so soon after her latest album pulled awesome numbers 
 
 

She most definitely did! I remember a magazine early 2020 had an interview with an 'anon source/friend' where they said Lana had written a whole album of sad, break-up songs, all of which is very doubtful to have made it onto Chemtrails..(none of the songs on COTCC scream we just broke up)
 
I always figured if Lana is gonna feature her breakup on RCS it's gonna start with the break-up, have a climax during her 'QFTC' songs, and end on a sweeter note about being happy with Clay
 
Here's to hoping if anything happened between Lana and Clay, it doesn't throw her off for RCS

I Don’t Wanna Go (Tonight), ITTJ, Wild One (maybe Thunder as closer and RBFY as intro???) are what I‘m envisioning for and need from this record

This pre-release will get even more painful in may...
I can imagine she won't do anything until then and we'll end up with 500 pages of speculations on the album's sound and vinyl colours

I think my biggest problem with Norman is how long it took for it to come out. UV/HM had perfect (to me) rollouts, LFL had a slight hiccup, nothing dramatic.. even COTCC’s 6 month delay wasn’t all that bad 
 
but almost a whole year between first single and album REALLY was overkill. Not to mention HIAB had been teased since the beginning of 2018, and LFL was already over a year old by the time MAC came out 
 
I really think the rollout left a huge bad aftertaste in my mouth that really affected how I perceived NFR, even to this day. There are SO many good ‘dual’ tracks on the album (MAC/VB, FIILY/TG, CG/HTD) but as a whole, the album is a mess that had no right taking as long as it did to come out.
