the question in my mind is why there is no insider speaking about the upcoming album

I think we are truly not ready for the aesthetic and visuals this era, Lassonita gonna serve big time
Lowkey agree with this but on the other hand I need something now so bad but the wait will be worth it , but yeah we become pretty rabid and manic once she officially announces an album
My dream would be another Honeymoon type of album roll out

do you guys think the photoshoot of this album is already taken? Because if it isn't the case I feel like Lana is going to look very cunty because she's been serving looks lately.

I think people here forget how manic we become when she officially announces an album… and it’s coming out in like 5-6 months
Cigarettes After Sex got their preorder and first single out in February for a July 12
release; we got the second single 10 days ago. Although both singles are amazing, even though this spring is packed with major releases, I can’t help but feel CAS’s pre-release is dragging on… Same would happen with Lana.
i mean, OB era, which was one of the shortest pre-release eras ever: we pressed Kintsugi and BoZ for every crumble of detail and as far as I can tell, neither of them is anywhere in sight for info this time around, which would make a very dry pre-release era…
My wish is for something like Billie did but with singles: announcement and preorder for a short pre-release, one single or two before the album, 2-3 months max.

I’m loving this season so far Ngl. It’s reeling me in real well and I’m intrigued in all the different stories and perspectives which are interconnecting really naturally and well so far in my opinion.

It's interesting that the photoshot is her in the room, as the album sounds like secrets said inside. It's a personal album that she didn't need to force. She's wanted to tell these reflections for a long time, but only now did it come out in such an organic way (Blue Banisters was a beautiful bridge). We wanted to hear the intense adventures, but it's the type of album that a woman, at her age, would make.
We are still so young and so inexperienced. We have so much to learn, that I think about how this album will sound when we are adults and the same questions presented are relevant to us.
Another thing: it's bizarre how her discography, in chronology, sounds like a coming-of-age and discovery story, which, if she wanted to end it here, would be a great ending. At the same time, it seems like just the beginning of much more to come! It's crazy to think that she's on her NINTH album and still maintains the same level of interest from the public. We WANT to see what she does next. In the last two years, she has resurrected her career.

That’s how I felt too!! Like I wouldn’t LOVED to hear it spoken against some gorgeous instrumental but I’m sure that one would’ve been rough for her to record and give more exposure to

Oh wow, great job. I had to translate to English so I’m sure I couldn’t get it as good as someone that spoke Spanish but that was very pretty! Thank you for sharing 🤗

Those opening notes on the actual melody-its INSTANTLY like "oooh this gurl about to serve" so lush, slightly foreboding, forever glamourous.

The Grants has to be her biggest grower ever lol
when it came out I jokinly called it The Yawns and now it's one of my favorites
her voice is so angelic, the lyrics and instruments are beautiful and it's works so well as an intro to this album

Honestly, to be at his side was everything, i feel peace. I wasn't there when he finally went, but if I hadn't gone that day I'd be in shambles. Shockingly, besides Kintsugi, this album is majorly helping me. Followed Lana since I saw a thumbnail of her in a flower crown on a throne on iTunes main page for BTD video and being 31 now (i know its not ancient, but I was like 18 when I first heard her) , getting older is accepting mortality, and that's something she really understands clearly in her own life. Thank God for this art

I'm really sorry for your loss. I totally understand why you'd take a break from the song (or anything related)
I know it's stupid to say that I hope you're doing okay, but I hope your grieving is not as painful and that eventually you can heal 🩷

I totally get needing outside help to cry lol. When this album dropped my Papa wasn't doing great at all, and he's passed just yesterday. I avoided the song cus I didn't want to "manifest" anything and now that he's gone it's just too raw. But I am excited to revisit it as he's in no more pain, playing golf with his brothers up there I'm sure, and I got to say goodbye-but yeah this hoe song is TOO MUTHAFUGGIN SAD for now. Also sorry tmi lolol God bless the internet
