Wrote it on the NFR post release and I'll write it again, mentioning current(ish) events in the context of how it ties into your own narrative isn't the same as being political. Even what's widely accepted as her "political songs" barely qualify. Coachella starts with the Korean border issue sure but it's not about that, it's about how it made her feel and what it made her think. GBAAATBWII again, barely political at all. WTWWAWBWJKD is arguably the most political and the main message is that things can be fixed. She's not an overtly political singer and that's fine, the general vagueness in her lyrics isn't a bad thing and I doubt she'll stray into overtly political songs (think Dylan's Hurricane) in this. But who knows.

We all know there’ll be a hint of that. True, quarantine sure ain’t the same with shitload tons of money. I’d rather hear her sing about quarantine and feeling lonely than to have a song that refers to the current revolution in the States. I don’t know, it’d feel weird, probably cause I can’t picture what it could sound like that would not seem « out of place ».

Respectfully, where exactly is the elegant and clever political commentary in NFR? I must've missed it. Lines like "Kanye West is blonde and gone" make me want to neck, quite frankly.
 
If we're comparing from a purely political perspective, I feel that LFL has the edge. Except for Coachella

If she doesn't want to be a sex symbol she should stop putting herself on her album covers? wth why can't she have a normal album cover like everyone else, none of them were ever particularly sexy anyways. And I don't think her selfies are ugly at all, just more natural, although I also miss the glamorous eras.

This title calls for a Slim Aarons style album cover with chemtrails in the sky...

What we know so far:
 
- The original release date was September 5th, 2020; however, the album has been postponed from this date. It was believed to still be released in September according to Interview Magazine, but this did not come to fruition.
- Lana has since estimated a December 10th, 2020 or January 7th, 2021 release date due to vinyl production during her 'Violet' signing, and then stated it would be pushed back further due to vinyl processing plants not opening until March during an Instagram Live.
- Lana will be collaborating with Jack Antonoff, the producer of her previous record 'Norman Fucking Rockwell'
- May be filled with "love songs and breakup ballads" per Life & Style Magazine on April 1st, 2020
- The first video will be for the title track 'Chemtrails Over the Country Club' directed by BRTHR per her Instagram announcement post
- 'Let Me Love You Like a Woman' will be the first single according to her Instagram announcement post
- Neil Krug will be photographing promo for the record, as he was on set for the 'Chemtails Over the Country Club' music video
- There may be a homemade video for 'Tulsa Jesus Freak/White Hot Forever' according to her Instagram post featuring the track
- Lana Del Rey has announced the album pre-order for January 11th in her Instagram post.

I feel so bad that I know this but Ariana has unfollowed 31 people since Lana’s post and she STILL FOLLOWS Lana. That’s it. That’s the post.

Physical age has nothing to do with mental age or wisdom. Whenever someone older tries to use that in an argument its very telling and reflective of their mind. I don't believe this is anyone's place to comment on. I believe its something between God and the person. If you dont believe in God its just for the person alone. Reputation is what people know of us, Character is what God knows of us. There are sides to her, thoughts of her, life events of hers and so much more that we have no knowledge of. Nobody can make an accurate claim as to what her identity is and her relationship with such. We only see so much of her life... she only shares so much..... that's not enough to comment on it. I'm not a God and so my opinion on something like this would be worthless. Not my place to be policing something so private. Voicing mere thoughts aren't a true reflection of someones character or soul anyway. We all have loads of different thoughts, saying them out loud doesn't mean anything.
