Lana should learn how to play the piano and general music theory so she can have more ownership over the production side of her music. More instruments in her music, pleaseee
 
I’m not a Jack Antonoff fan because I’m hearing similar regressions in  St. Vincent’s artistry since Massseduction and St. Vincent has way more musicianship than Lana does. So if Lana is responsible for picking the (basic) chords/sounds with no formal training, then what does that say about St. Vincent? That can’t be right 

... anyways i just hope this has nancy sinatra energy.... PLEASE give me summer wine 2.0, some velvet morning  nancy & lee = nikki & lana 
 
i'll have country if it isn't the "more and more stripped down" thing that her and jack kept talking about, because "stripped down" country is slightly less appealing to me for lana. not bad at all in terms of music but in terms of lana i love the fullness of her work and being more stripped down just is less appealing to me! but still okay

when this becomes a Lana x Nikki x Zella album produced by Dan Auerbach and they become a better version of HAIM

Nikki and Lana met during her UV era as they both had Dan Auerbach produce their albums around the same time! UV 2.0 y’-all 
 
I listened to Nikki’s music tonight. It’s much more uptempo than Lana’s and quite fun. I can think of so many ways this collab will turn out but I’m still hesitant because their vocals are so different and Lana has a tendency to slow down her songs

This album is gonna be so reliant on producers to make or break it. VG and Ride are country songs at heart, sure, but the instrumentation is what makes it so alt-pop

-Architecture should have been on LFL, The Next Best Mess ain't it
-Lolita, Lucky Ones and Diet Mountain Dew are some of the best tracks on Born To Die
-She needs to get rid of Jack, his production feels so bland when he's working with Lana. Her last two albums are missing the overdramatic elements that made me fall in love with her
-Doin Time is the only good music video she's made since after the Lust For Life era
-She should get a creative director for her next era

(also taylor swift would have an actual RAGE if lana started a country group without her. she'd seek out Courtney Love's hex skills)

casually anticipating this country album  i have low expectations but i'm thinking we might end up pleasantly surprised by Lana's interpretation of country
