it’s exhausting  her writing these last few years has been so much more mature and layered and sustainable. i really just don’t think lana is the artist for some fans anymore and it’s a hard pill to swallow

her telling anyone to stop smoking when she herself is an ex-chainsmoker turned vape-addict is so 

well it’s certainly a better excuse than "lol i couldn’t be bothered to film something, suck it twinks" 

I feel like people gave Taylor so much hate for not having Lana sing more, and now Lana is trying to set the record straight that Taylor did want her to but it was her own decision not to.
 
Honestly though, for her to keep saying she would have done it IF she knew she was the only feature on the album doesn't really make sense. Like what difference does that even make really if there are other features since this is the only one in existence with the two of them... it's almost like she's also implying that Taylor should have told her this, but it's maybe just an excuse and seems irrelevant to me. Lana has features on some of her albums and those artists have verses, and you can really hear them, it's not just occasional background vocals. Idk maybe we will get another collaboration to make up for it. 

I mean, how can you not love her with that dry humour . She’s wayyy more aware of what fans say/do than she’s previously let on . 

I’m not sure if this is unpopular or not, but Velvet Crowbar is one of Lana’s best unreleased

i love A&W, it’s as an intricate track as VB, but VB is easier to listen to because A&W has such dark lyrics to it… I listen to A&W everyday, many times a day, it’s gorgeous and a career highlight for sure, but VB became my lifestyle, back in 2018-19 haha!
