born to die isn't my favourite but in terms of what she'll be remembered by i think that's it... especially in the UK where it sold so much, it definitely has longevity. a few days ago my favourite uk rapper, dave, posted a pic of the btd vinyl on his ig story 

honestly i agree. born to die (while not my favorite or her objective best) is her most influential work and basically created a whole new subgenre of 2010s/2020s pop music.

imagine: after 3 months of silence from lana we are all crippling with anxiousness but its finally september 4th... lana has not said one thing about the album... we all assume this is on purpose because its a surprise... the clock hits midnight... no album... only crickets

cocc is definitely coming sep 5. don't think we're getting a single anytime soon though but who knows

I remember posting that BAR will NEVER EVER make it to any album in any form on the day the NFR tracklist was announced     

lets not forget that lana was seen taking some type of photos in an old vintage convertible way back in Jan/Feb so it isn't far fetched to think she *might* use that as the cover!!!

Lana will probably release Sep 5th and use the quarantine to her advantage to not do album promo (radio shows, interviews etc) so it probably works in her favour

There is the Jan 4 release date of Violet... but was it an Interscope related project at that moment? She described it as « rough and unpolished » (or something like that)... and now we know Jack is involved: she clearly reworked the damn thing and maybe brought Interscope on board as well.

im curious: did anyone guess something about nfr in the pre-release thread? if so maybe we can guess something about cotcc

honestly the title just oozes out some kind of social perspective discrepancy and some sort of disillusionment. when I think about HM, I immediately think of HBTB and Art Deco for some reason. 
and I hope so too yeah, like some kind of psychedelic twist to the cover.. about her own tone n perspective, I think so too, nd I hope she uses the deeper range of her voice w something on the record. like how fucking terrifying would that sound, it'd b amazing/ even bring back the shrills

If it doesn't end with a Lana (not Lizzy) cover of End of The World by Skeeter Davis that would be a missed oppurtunity

Guys just don't listen to anything whatever she puts out, like even if its a single i wouldn't listen to it. Simply because the album isn't that far away and it will make it way more enjoyable if you don't have a single clue what to expect upon first listen. It will be like when you first discovered listening to her. I mean its your choice of course but, i think its the better option

I don't think LFA will be on the album, at the very least because it would make it much more difficult to give the proceeds to the very specific charities / orgs the single's proceeds went to.

the way I have zero excitement for this album. I don't even know why 

... this is not going to be a happy record.
Its going to be angry, sad and filled with remorse and hatred.
