personally i don’t buy signed things second hand because the prices are extortionate and it feels less ‘personal’? idk if that makes sense but taylor signing a cd and me buying it directly from her feels more authentic to me than buying from a third party whose main goal is to make profit. i’d say use the money to buy something else, and wait for a signed version of a future album from her website that will be cheaper and more special 

that being said, I really like this thread because most of ya'll can play this game nicely and it's fun to read different opinions  oh and:
 
- whenever I hear Maroon 5/James Blunt/the Beatles it's a skip like please just shh
- Justin Bieber's persona is a massive turn off even though some of his songs kinda slap
- I used to be a huge stan of Ariana's music and kept up with her alot but there's something about her persona that keeps irking me, she just seems so inauthentic
- I used to stan Nicki as well and I still stream her older music sometimes (god forbid) but she's so embarrassing these days and completely in the wrong

every album since Lust For Life is more of a mixtape/collection of songs than an actual album and they all seem somewhat unfinished 

He’s def an asshole I don’t like him but I just really don’t care enough to listen to (imo) an inferior version of the album so money goes to millionaire 1 instead of millionaire 2. Said this before already but they got enough money it really doesn’t matter lol. She’s taking ownership of her work & I think that’s great, most of her fans are gonna stream the re-recordings anyway so she’ll be fine if I don’t jshdjf. 

I’m just gonna keep the vault tracks + girl at home tbh. The original Red is just better to me. These re-recordings are nice but the production of the original just sounds richer & more complete. The re-recordings kinda just sound like she’s doing karaoke covers of her own songs to fanmade instrumental remakes from youtube or something (good remakes tho, but it’s just not as good.)
& I really don’t care about the Scooter mess enough to not listen to the original anymore

listening to All Too Well (10 Minute Version) & that "fuck the patriarchy" line rlly took me out of it sdjfhl wasn't this version supposedly made in like 2011 like pls she did Not write that line in 2011

Happiness Is A Butterfly is 3 great songs mixed terribly into one. Idk what could be changed about it but the verses, pre chorus, and chorus are so distinctly different and don’t go together at all. 
 
Maybe she could have made them two interludes or something

Violets for Roses could have been the best classic Lana song since Honeymoon (album) if it had orchestral drums and a bit of harp. It would have been like Video Games grown up. Still an amazing song (considering that I didn't expect to like it so much) and its production is so full compared to the last 2 albums but I just can't help thinking! 
 
I would also talk about Living Legend more but @Glitter Boy already made it perfect, so, dream come true! And I'm sorry I keep tagging you but I just want everyone to know who hasn't heard your edits! You can mute me if you like 

NAWWAL could have been an amazing song if it had strings and especially drums, like a mix of thunder and living legend

Don’t get me wrong, I love Million Dollar Man as it is on Born to Die, and it’s perfect for the soundscape and sonic world of the record…but listening to the instrumental of the Paradise Tour version + hearing the shouty live vocals in the chorus and the jazzy “ooh”s in the bridge before the last chorus, I wish there was some alternate re-release of the song where we got a studio version of that. It’s just so jazzy and timeless and classic.  Lana’s interpolations of “jazz” (UV + HM as albums, Million Dollar Man live, and Why Don’t You Do Right live) are all amazing and show off her talent as a musician and artist, she really suits the genre and knows how to make it her own while staying true to its roots.

the cheap ass production and weird transition between the bridge and the rest of the song. tragic bc the song has mad potential but i feel like they didn't want to change it much bc of the architecture leak

thinking about how 1 week after BB was released I got blackout-shitwasted-drunk and first ended up not knowing who I was and where I was and then stumbling upon my childhood home crying my eyes out and screaming at the top of my lungs to my mother for not ever being there for me when I was growing up and how much I miss my dad even though he's 100% shit  also how I don't care about anyone else except my sisters and that my only duty in life is to protect them
