The fact that she mentioned Tulsa Jesus Freak: White Hot Forever twice in the last weeks reassures me. Plus she is super active on her Insta, which she was last year, before she dropped the date, cover and tracklist of NFR. Plus the code on her website.... 
I really believe this week will be the week confirming it all. 
 
I think it will really depend how Interscope will want to get involved in her next projects. NFR did good and received critical acclaim and Chemtrails being made with the same producer gives her a lot of liberty for that project... But after that, who knows what will happen, especially if Chemtrails flops? 
Honeymoon is still her weakest album when it comes to streams... so no wonder Interscope sat down with her to make sure they had a better commercial success with LFL.

she's actually posting about the poetry more than i thought she would which is fine i'm glad she's enjoying herself,, but this might mean it'll be a bit longer before she starts actually talking about COCC. probably a few more videos of her reading her poems then we'll get to hear/see something from the album

I thought the AOTY nom for NFR was like... an example of what she meant??? because it’s so different from her other albums/themes/perspectives, which normally do get heavily criticized. she made an album without those and got praised, which is wonderful of course but I bet she was feeling that it was unfair. I know a lot of people on here call NFR her most personal album, but to me it felt very bland and unlike anything we’ve really heard from her narrative wise, so it was hard for me to see it as authentic when she has years of music proving otherwise lol. Idk if Lana feels the same way, obviously there’s a degree of authenticity in everything she does but to me it just seemed like she was pointing out that this kind of proved she has to act a certain way if she wants praise

I don't think Lana will really care much about negative reviews... Born To Die is her most successful work and is at 65(?) on Metacritic
 
I do think it is ironic that she was complaining about 'unfair criticism' of her in May 2020 instagram post... when she literally just had a universally acclaimed album that was nominated for AOTY. Perception is everything I guess... 

I just know Tulsa Jesus Freak is going to be a song defending her love of Sean and I’m going to hate that it still sounds nice.

I love that Salamander clip though! She looks amazing! And I love that there were new lines in the poem

this is why i hope she doesn't hold back on the album. if it's the most pure and innocent music ever or something rebellious she'll get ripped to shreds either way so she might as well say whatever she wants at this point

That post was turned into something it wasn't. Some critics will see that, others won't. It's ignorant to claim she's racist based on that post anyway. She just named big artists, it had nothing to do with skin colour so idk how anyone will make her out to be racist in a music review. That would be so stupid. The FKA Twigs comparison she made was a bit misinformed but aside from that everything she said was fine.

every critic is gonna bring up her question for the culture rant in their reviews for COCC cause that's just what they do 

you guys are rude lol. there’s literally nothing wrong with Zella, I KNOW if you guys listened to Kicker you’d be like damn this is some good shit!! Queen!!! Can’t wait!! Because it’s such an amazing album.
