Absolutely agree. When she steps away from tired 'romance' cliches, she writes dynamic songs like 'Cola,' ''Gods & Monsters,' 'Old Money' and 'Swan Song' that no one else could have written. If she wants to utilize romantic cliches, let her save them for her fun satires of contemporary pop, like 'Making Out' and 'Meet Me in the Pale Moonlight,' which unfortunately seem to be a thing of the past. 
 
That's part of what sunk NFR for me, the fact that at least half the tracks were, lyrically, 'things she dreamt up in the tub,' as one reviewer once said about Kate Bush, songs LDR could have written while in a coma. It's usually not a good sign when an artist starts repeating themselves, and LDR has begun doing that. 

unfortunately, i think lana's days of making summery drug/romance anthems are behind her. which is a shame cause those songs slapped. 
 
now she's all about "meditations" and "vibrations" and "questioning the culture" so god help us all 

if she goes country (Hey blue baby is something i want to forget) or Hope is a dangerous.. type of sound im gonna be disappointed. Not like i have something against ballads. Video games is iconic. But it has so many layers. i cant stand songs with only piano as instrumentals. I just cant. I think I listened to Hope nad Happiness like two times. I wish she would do something big on cocc, like Ride or Y&b type of big but i have a terrible feeling its gonna be album full of ballads since shes more into poetry now...

we NEED UV 2.0 realness!!! Give us a summer anthem about doing lines of coke in Hawaii in lingerie on a yacht with the mafia while feeling miserable about your past lover!!!!! PERIODT

i know shes never gonna but what if Lana started singing in a more grunge style like she did in that one nirvana cover omg i would go crazy it would rekindle my soul and bring me to depths of physiological euphoria not previously known to human experience and then i would die of a stroke       

She looks cute, if thats the cover, i wouldnt be mad

I would love for her to work with Emile again and create an album that could be a mature version of BTD, with songs that sounds like Wait For Life, Starry Eyed, etc.

I would love if she were to expand the sound from the UV outtakes, like color blue, fine china, your girl, say yes to heaven, flipside etc... those songs are incredible

Amen to that!, so bored of BTD hate. I personally think it’s her best album although I love them all. NFR is being overrated by this fan base like it’s the new Ultraviolence. NFR lacks the energy or pace BTD has in my opinion.

That's literally what BTD is, there are no trap beats in it either. NFR compared to Born To Die is like Whole Foods compared to the Palace of Versailles
