personal belief that lana’s sporadic posting is responsible for 50% of my high blood pressure. Wouldn’t change it for anything though lmao

Maybe it's coming out sooner than we thought because it'd be unlike her to tease this early if it's coming on the 26th
    That's almost three weeks away

This is exactly how I feel about NFR’s less lyrically nuanced moments. In those moments where she wasn’t being super poetic or “insightful,” she was delivering really on-the-spot & honest emotional expression.

I think the chorus of Cinnamon Girl is a great example of this; it’s not particularly complex from a lyrical standpoint, but it verbalizes a lot of unspoken and implicit hesitations, and she manages to deliver the lines in such a way that is both intimate and vulnerable.

I actually think that the title track's the most like Bartender. gentle, swooping and otherworldly. both have an eerieness to them w the twiddling of the piano keys like a gentle haunting hour, similar to the title track's overall haunting vibe.

I know a lot of people think Love song's like boring and sure it's not the most dynamic sounding of songs, but I'm hoping Yosemite or another song on the record captures the sheer simple beauty of being truly vulnerable. u've got OTTR MPG Carmen n all that, but it's songs like Love song and the other gentler stuff that really gets u through life properly imo. the serenity.

i'm sure other busy bodies know what i'm talking about.

Someone said a while ago that they actually like the cheesy lyrics because it shows how genuine the music is, and at first i disagreed, but now thats exactly how i feel. Not all of the lyrics being perfect prose or something makes it feel human

banned because you've changed your profile pic like 5 times in the past few days which makes it hard for me to remember it's you
but redeemed because they've all been cute and iconic

this is probably the most unpopular Lana opinion I have lmao:

While I love the songwriting on the chorus & adore the production, I’m not a fan of how the verses on Ultraviolence (the song) were written at all. The structure of the verse’s sentences always read awkwardly to me.

I enjoy the sentiment & how it ties into the cult aspect but wasn’t huge on the execution if that makes sense

Jumping off of this, I've never been too big on the Ultraviolence title track. The production is a little grating. Paired with that mess of a music video, I just don't care for it as much as everyone else does.

I need to stop entering this thread because it's turned into a competition for who can say the most outrageously contrarian statements
