As the song is obviously about her family, her childhood and how she escaped from that, the chemtrails represent the evil and occult from her family, from the elite she grew up with, from the country club. "Nothing is what it seems down at the country club..."

I can definitely see this as a track Lana would leave unreleased and leak five years later, I’m just so grateful this didn’t become one of those unreleased leaks.

This is really interesting bc now that i've thought about it, this song actually resonates with NFR in a lot of ways. Let's go back and think about who Norman fuckin Rockwell was anyway. He was an older painter who painted the time period of the American Dream. Lana's NFR character was a man who wanted the American Dream, but never could reach it-- his version was never attainable. Like in TNBAR. COCC is Lana's American Dream and she doesn't care what she has to do to get there-- she's saying this is what their life could be if he just let her, just like LMLYLAW-- Let me be the woman I want to be to you, let me love you like I think I should and want to in my mind of this american dream, fragile, but forceful all the while. Let me be your American Dream, just like National Anthem back on BTD, "blurring the lines between real and fake"

Annie specifically asked her how she feels about 2020, and even said that she asks everyone on the show and gets a wide range of interesting answers. Eventually she tried to redirect to the music, but let's not pretend Annie was like "tell us about the album" and Lana was like "well actually, politics..." Annie even cut her off at one point when she started talking about the music to say hi to her cats. 
 
As for Complex, I don't know how anyone could read their headline and the implications that came with it and think that they were being fair. They knew exactly what they were doing, and they absolutely deserve to be dragged for it.

God just let this woman alone. She may messed up sometime but you can tell she's not malicious or anything so why trying to make her look bad and like a republican when you KNOW she never supported Trump? I mean there are some REAL fucked up artists. Lana may not be the typical "woke" girl you may want, but she's not fucking ignorant and evil like they want to show her. I would be mad too.

I for one am glad she's sticking up for herself. You have to call out bad faith actors or they will control the narrative about you. It's about time a celebrity stood up to click bait libel that passes as celebrity news nowadays.

Didn't complex make a special with her during the LFL promo where they talked about politic and her Trump criticism and the fact that she could've lost fans because of it? I mean, they should know better... 

She's just giving more exposure to those tweets, other publications will talk about these twitter replies tomorrow and it'll go on and on... we're stuck in a neverending nightmare!

Wow, that was intense. Firstly, it sucks to see her this distraught, she should be allowed to celebrate with us! Secondly, she talks almost exactly like me in the sense that when something is really on your mind, it becomes this stream of consciousness bounce around, including different topics but still makes sense in the end, so I was on that wavelength. Lastly, she put periodt on this with that fuck you.
