um guys remember when we found that Chemtrails review on WhatsOn? I texted the reviewer back then and he responded now. He said he works for press so he gets advance copies sent to him. When i told him about eds response, he said its not unusual for albums to be still tweaked till the release date and its really odd that the review was taken down. Idk, i would take that with a grain of salt since the review was super short and weird

The thing is, even if she delays the album a bit, we know she's working on it. She's doing photoshoots and filming MVs, it's not like we don't know anything about what is she doing. And like someone here said, if she's working on visuals these days must be because the music is already done. Even Ben said that new Lana music is coming soon and his "soon" are not the same as Lana's.

This would actually be a very good thing because Charlie is hot and if Chunk's in it, it means she isn't shooting it.

Also she shot FIILY/TG (or at least, part of it) in early July last year because she was in Europe and in that live stream with Ed before one of her shows she talked about how she fell off the surfboard or whatever. Then she first showed footage of it in the album trailer on August 2nd.
So that took roughly a month to edit, for reference.

ok so i was looking at pictures from tapia bro’s (apparently where the video is being filmed) and it literally looks like a fucking farm. lana’s gonna be riding a tractor. it’s a country album. WE LOST!!!!!

Nah I don’t think she cares about the Scammies anymore at this point. Tbh it would be even more iconic if she dropped  it the day after as a big fat fuck you to the industry - I’d live for that shit

I don't blame this poor hairdresser. He is just... living. Im just dissapointed~  But it's ok I got used to it.

if it was a shoot they were doing he couldve just said so like he said it last time. to be all mysterious and countdown is weird as fuck and he clearly sees how hyped it got us and probably wouldve deleted/corrected himself if it wasnt something THAT important for us to know. the whole bunny and hat emoji clearly indicates a surprise. idk. make it make sense

if the album was really delayed, i would assume that either lana or her managers would say something, if september 5th comes and goes, or if they annouce a delay on that day, that would be really shitty of them. 

I think the problem is not her not releasing the album. The problem is her saying an specific day and then acting like she said nothing. I mean why give an specific date if you're not sure? And then if the album is not finished as her manager said why would she stay silent until that day? she knows well she has a fanbase waiting for that day and staying silent when she knows everything is not ok imo but well, let's see.

I get what you mean, but 3 days and 4 midnights means that the full days of August 26, 27, and 28 pass by and the midnights of August 26, 27, 28, and 29 occur. If it was coming in the daytime he’d just say 4 days as that’s familiar language, especially when doing a countdown. I’m not necessarily disappointed or surprised by any means, but I can’t speak for everyone. I do think that the timeframe he gave adds up to right now, though. But we shall see what happens in the coming days!

I don’t think that’s the case to be honest, because the VMAS are on Sunday and I don’t think she would film the VMAS acceptance speech at midnight. The way Sheridan worded his post made it seem like something is going to happen at midnight for the general public. If Lana was winning the VMAS, then he would’ve said 5 days, as they would air five days after his original post. 

Here’s what I’m thinking is going to happen now that we have this email from them:
 
Tonight - album drops as a surprise on streaming services. 
 
Tomorrow morning - Lana posts the album cover to social media and says it’s now out on streaming services, her website is updated to COTCC aesthetics and we can pre-order vinyl/CD/cassette for release on September 4/5th. 
 
Middle of next week - music video drops
 
Anytime in September, but maybe it would make the most sense for it to be between the 4-11th - album release event at The Record Parlour

I think the “can’t confirm or deny” factor here means that this whole release cycle is meant to be a surprise with no lead-up so, personally, I’m taking that as a good sign!
