Did you guys like Purge The Poison? I’m listening to it for the first time as a type this and I’m having so many mixed reactions. Some parts are really good others I’m side eyeing? Idk how to feel. It feels kinda 80s yet modern? Idk this is so weird and good ahahaha 

I actually like the britney line. It's the h*rvey  and Me Too lines after that that I don't like because I don't think it can be thrown into a song like that. It makes it feel heavier to me and when it's sung in such an upbeat way I just can't get into it! 
I wonder if this was the "tone deaf" thing that someone was talking about before, because that's the only line that I feel isn't done well because it makes me feel gross hearing that name and a little bit triggered 
But I really enjoy the rest of the song!

I like it but I still can't get into some verses (and the Britney line, that should have been rewritten). But overall, I'm enjoying it more with each listen. I get you, it felt weird at first

Hi, this is my first time starting a topic (took me a good while to figure out how to share photos on here, haha), but I just wanted to share something I made recently: I got a myself a custom lyrics book printed for Ultraviolence as it has always bothered me that the official one doesn't include the full lyrics. I designed it using Photoshop and I know it's nothing fancy but I really enjoyed putting it all together and I'm pleased with how it has come out. (Want to add a quick thanks to everyone in the Resources thread for researching and sharing all the official fonts they could find. That thread was seriously so helpful! Oh, and the Lyrics thread, obviously very useful as well.)

I'm currently working on a second book for Honeymoon, using a lot more of my own photos this time. I've nearly finished it, just need to work a few more things out but I'll update this post when I'm done and it arrives.

Anyway, feel free to critique/tell me ways I can improve on any elements for next time, I know some of the black and white photos didn't print so well so I'm trying to avoid using those in the future. Really pleased I finally found a company that prints images on the spine though, so the spine matches the front cover.

I’d love if Lana pulled off the June 1st date! I also agree that Blue Banisters is likely the lead single, and going by the 20 day theory of White Dress it makes sense it’ll be out the 30th!
 
But at least with White Dress we had some confirmation of what it was...so far we’re completely in the dark..she only posted one picture on Instagram and then vanished..didn’t give a ‘excited for my new single/poem/whatever it may be’ didn’t give a date, and the Blue Banister picture wasn’t even posted to Facebook or Twitter...it seems like it was a very spur of the moment thing that she posted just because 
 
maybe she was greenlit the song coming out and she got excited and announced it early??
 
as excited as I am for whatever it is, I’m getting antsy for any kind of follow up information instead of the silence 

The amount of timelines/extensive searching for code/shazam/potential collaborations....this is a full time job. 

I'll be excited if a rollout starts. But I'm not expecting anything tbh. She's played with our hearts one too many times.

Yes! I’m sorry, I’m so late to this but yes, Kali Uchis released Sin Miedo on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at 10 AM PST which I thought was unusual, since albums are generally released on Friday, and she also released that record under Interscope. But since she did it, I don’t see why Lana - an artist who really can do whatever she wants without worrying too much about it - couldn’t!
 
Also haven’t been on here lately but I just wanna say I’m so excited for Blue Banisters! I really do think it’s a song, the lead single from Rock Candy Sweet. The format was the same as White Dress’s teasers and I think if she were to tease a poem, she would just post her typewritten page-scans or post a spoken-word visual. 
 
Since she posted it on the 10th, I feel like it’s going to come on April 30th or sometime next month! Can’t wait!

Literally no one wants her to go back to singing about Lolita and cheesy teenage stuff. I agree that some do want the BTD *sound* to come back. If it does, great! If it doesn't, that's great too! She obviously wouldn't be singing about the same stuff tho
