i don't see a lot of Jump appreciation, it's a catchy and funny song and one of my personal favorites from AKA.
besides in the video there's some clips that clearly are an inspiration for West Coast's video!
it's always cool to see how she translates her pre-Lana work into her latest stuff.

This project really is a masterpiece to me, it is SO beautiful and unique and special. I can't believe how little attention it's gotten, it's one of the best artistic releases of the year. I really am surprised Jack never said a word about it, his music is gorgeous throughout.

I feel like people don’t really talk about it that much nowadays and when it came out I remember people dismissed it as “boring” because it was “slow” and “sparse”  but I think it’s a song where her vocals shine and her extra-layered harmonies in the chorus paired with the sweeping strings and plucked guitar chords are so atmospheric! Musical heaven and masterful lyricism at its finest. I think it’s definitely one of her top 5 best songs of all time and that whole record is a career highlight!

I really can't remember who mentioned it in another thread, but she should cover Kate Bush's Wuthering Heights, it can be a nice opportunity to show off her vocal range (Cola comes to mind) and also the song kinda talks about a 'reuniting with a lost lover' kinda story (I'd recommend reading Emily Brontë's book that inspires the song if you are into classics!) that might be similar to Bel Air, Dark Paradise and some parts of Young and Beautiful.

Listen with good headphones when you're in a really carefree/badass mood and it will be great! 
It used to always be a skip but it definitely grew on me as a lovely track.

I think it'd be great to have pinned posts on threads, so we're all just at the same time updated on current news/info every once in a while. I think someone already mentioned that there was an issue on continuing reading the thread from where they last visited on mobile, but I honestly find it a bit trickier to do so on here too. miss the most recent post preview feature as well. 

There's been that lag that everyone's been mentioning, but I guess it's more on traffic so it can't really be helped..

maybe we can have like a survey option or something on how the site's been. furthering it, more forum group games/missions or something. I already made a thread, dream box set, those threads for dropping ideas, but would there be a way to be able to positively communicate w her team to see them etc. ? some of us have ideas that could expand the Lana brand, and help perpetuate it, so it'd be nice and ultra fancy schmancy if we got to bridge that somehow. 

the twitter/social media widget (?) from before was also pretty nice at how it kept social media updates just right there, like. one source one feed that was convenient. 

do we have like, a list of banned users or a ways of finding out just site news or something? since the update, it's been a bit confusing on who still visits the site, who doesn't, and who can't. I know there's an entire subsection for the site and updates, but it'd be nice to have some kind of widget(?) or however it's called on the main page. like, a header of some sort or something. 

and I know how this is like, the mod to user communication thread, but I was thinking it'd be great to have some kind of option where users can make content for the site, to be used etc. (emoticons, themes, templates(?))

uhh here's something a little weird. Since the song came out really weird in result I tried to do the DIY video that Lana was so famous for doing I felt too self conscious singing 'daddy' to camera so much haha.
 
I thought the song sounded really bare so I added in some additional sound effects, including the reverberations of JUPITER and reverberations and the moon (!). 
 
 

She needs to do “I Talk to the Wind” by King Crimson. There’s a version with a flute in the intro on Spotify that I love, but this version with the bluesier guitars is just as gorgeous for Lana

tbh i've seen my fair share of lana don't vape  lana don't smoke posts...

idk if I'm going blind or it's the clip's shitty quality but I can kinda see something behind the mask? Also the angle makes the mask appear with a certain thickness to it, so yeah.
