Shades of cool deserves first place for its intricate melody, guitar solo and operatic vocals.
It’s also much better lyrically than Venice bitch and has more interesting imagery

God Save Our Young Blood - a song where Lana is hardly noticeable - even making it onto this list and ranking HIGHER than some very personal, introspective songs (namely Is This Happiness) is terrible. What even.

I like the more cheeky and subtle explicit songs. Something that isn't obviously sexual but hidden under metaphors and shit. 
 
 

I don't really like explicit songs. Unless it's for creating a certain effect as she did in Cola. Lana have tons of sexual songs without driving the explicit path, Stargirl for example. I want something so sexual and erotic that it seems like a fever dream. The tension is there, but it's all blurred and you have to complete with your imagination

I hate how so many youtube reactions always say "ew" or "that's gross" on that cola lyric. Meanwhile people praise WAP and it's repulsive lyrics. pls. I really hope Lana drags this type of bs on RCS.

this may be a really unpopular opinion but i'm totally fine with the idea of lana making a "country" album because i know it's not going to be like modern, mainstream country, it'll probably be more "rural" or "western" like desert rock, similar to guns & roses and queen of the gas station, maybe something bluesy like sad girl, i think it'd be a beautiful sound for her, i think breaking up slowly's biggest issue was nikki lane's feature, but other than that, it was gorgeous

I agree COCC  is an album that she started creating almost 2 years ago . RCS has to be released this year while the alleged things that she is talking about in her album are still relevant to her . 
Also Nikki saying that it would make her happy if Lana followed a more country direction with her music alarmed me a bit

I have a theory that none of the chemtrails vinyl will be as rare and sought after as some previous Lana records. in the past there would only be a variant or two, so if you wanted the colored vinyl, you had to find THE colored variant. with chemtrails there’s so many options idk if people for instance will be dying for the beige if they can still easily snag the yellow, for example.

One actually interesting/fun thing she says is that during the recording process, she often asked Jack to be "wilder" and go harder on the songs.
 
Well, that did not really work out, did it? Maybe that's why she was not completely satisfied with the final version of the songs. And it could indicate that she'll actually go with a more intense sound on RCS
