Am I crazy or am I the only one who STILL hears "psalms and poems" despite her mouth CLEARLY mouthing "songs and poems"

I told him about her performance and he said “she isn’t singing a new song live”

so I said “why would the chemtrails video work?”

and be said “it did work. Look at how buzzed Lanaboards is now. All of you are gonna be tuning in”

Excuse you. The people care. We better get that covers album, it's going to be transcendent and glorious and the perfect thing to leave on repeat at my mom's place over the holidays.

her OG makeup artist Pammy uses Ardell lashes on her - she would apply their half-lashes to the outer corner & apply individual ones in addition for that fluffy look. There’s a story highlight on her instagram page @/pammycochrane that shows her process  Of course Pammy hasn’t done Lana’s makeup since COVID hit and has been (temporarily?) replaced by Etienne Ortega who definitely uses a different lash style for shoots, but I would assume whenever Lana does her makeup herself she’s probably using tips learned from Pammy after having styled her for so long x

Trump nor Biden are winning Georgia. Stacey Abrahams is winning Georgia. She singlehandedly registered 800,000 voters, mainly young and black. She turned down running for senate so she could see her message through. That’s what democracy is, not the BS the former President is claiming about “voter fraud” that is being laughed out of courts across our country. Democracy is putting in the work to spread the message. Not whining after you lost.

eh. he's better than trump and has some decent policies. he by no means perfect, but he does a good job at showing empathy towards other people (whether you want to argue that's just part of an act due to him being a politician is based purely on opinion). i think most of his support comes from the fact that he treats people like people which is something that trump does not. that and he goes out of his way to meet his supporters or contact them.

i honestly wouldn't call him a democrat really, more of a moderate. not the best, but certainly not the worst.

trump put a lot of shit in place in order to make it out like biden is to blame though so watch out for that. for example, there's a policy that was put in place starting 2021 where taxes would increase in increments for people making under 100k. trump put that in there so he could take it out and look like a hero if he won, or they'd leave it in and let every one blame biden for a shady policy they put in place that people aren't paying attention to

the senates fate lies in the hand of Georgia it looks like. If Democrats grab both run off elections, they control the Senate (as Vice President Harris can cast the tie-breaking 51st vote)

According to the Secretary of State of Pennsylvania, ~550,000 ballots remain uncounted, and they hope to finish counting today. Based on current reportings, Biden is winning those remaining ballots by 78%. If he can keep his margin up, he can win PA (and this whole ordeal will be over, bc Biden wins election regardless of AZ and NV).

This! I feel like people have normalized collectively critiquing someone’s art in a way that’s masked as sympathetic by saying things like “honey...” but really it’s just backhanded and kinda rude for no reason.

don’t you have an incel twitter account to be running? wearing a mask and not organising a large gathering with random people isn’t PC, but then again i guess consideration for the wellbeing of one another isn’t a social norm in an individualist society

lana’s not some mysterious figure who doesn’t run with the crowd, she’s a grown woman pushing 35 who literally has been running with the crowd i.e. her political awakening and “hexing” trump in 2017 or whatever that shit was.
everything she’s been doing lately is so obnoxious and weird. this isn’t who i once loved, maybe it’s because i’ve grown up since then but maybe it’s because lana hasn’t grown up at all. she’s free to carry on pulling this shit as long as she doesn’t go on another woe is me rant about how everyone criticises her

edit: i’m sorry she actually IS 35 lmao

Just had the same thought. Is she just being an asshole for attention, does she think becoming the new "antagonist" of the music industry is fun or has she developed a God complex at this point? I GENUINELY don't know. She acts like an actual narcissist this year. Idk what happened but I'm not enjoying it, that's for sure.

this honestly really bothers me, they get the opportunity to meet lana del rey and have her signature in their book, but they just do it all for profit. i just think it's unfair, there's so many other fans who aren't able to attend these events, and they certainly won't be able to afford a book being sold for over 1k. but of course, it is their right to sell the book and that's their decision.

this sounds great but all of this requires effort and no not just from the people around her but also lana herself and that is something she very rarely served these past few eras (except for her art itself), some people have pointed that out quite a few times already that lana keeps behaving unprofessionally but a lot of her fans (and there’s plenty of those pseudo alternative-whatever u want to call them we-hate-taylor-swift-and-gaga-because-these-pop-stars-are-fake stans on here too) who kept praising lana for being lazy and half assed about almost every release in a good while because apparently that’s authenticity and “music not the bling”.

this goes hand in hand with people saying she needs a social media team and not manage it herself and that she needs to hire people around her comfort zone for things like touring and promo and yes we can see that lana does promote despite people saying she doesn’t, that pop-up shop she had was promo too or that little tour she did for lfl.. but the majority of it is always so badly planned and like effort that’s being directed into a dead-end alley that i don’t understand why she won’t put effort into things which .. would give her better promo than gifting her old clothes to the same group of people she sees at almost ever other LA-based event.

and well i won’t even go in depth about why the covid-party i mean the book signing wasn’t just a bad idea but catastrophic.
other than the writer you posted about taylor swift literally released an album and the entire campaign was run without her having to appear with fans anywhere and there were plenty of signed items that were shipped to indie stores without someone actively trying to group all of those people together in a small room at once.

the fact that instead of a small quiet book roll out we got this mess after mess with the perfect timing of some major misstep happening right when people start(ed) to forget about the other shit she’s done this year is just the tip of the iceberg and ironically probably the best comedy for people like that one journalist she dm’d to fuck herself or other haters who have been coming for her for years, and all of this following the critically acclaimed and completely boring and uneventful NFR era.... a kii

I just seriously cannot comprehend where her brain and common sense have gone to

regardless of if she wants to become this divisive controversial figure, do it another way and stop potentially endangering people and basically co-signing  far right, conspiracy viewpoints
