i swear it's always the people who preach acceptance / inclusiveness / positivity who turn around and say awful shit about someone else, it shouldn't even matter if they don't really like them, just... be respectful... it's not that difficult 

They’re saying pretty mean things like “tw//lana del ray”, “This made me jump”, “she is so hard to look at”, “she’s so ugly” (these last two are from people with Nicki Minaj profile pics so it sucks that Nicki’s fans are doing this), “I know she did not use her busted ass face as a reaction pic”, “spoiled milk”, “white women are the devil”, etc. 
 
...it’s dehumanizing and rude and I can’t believe people tear other people down who are just living their life. They preach about kindness on Twitter but then immediately go and do this

They probably saw those tweets and poured themselves drinks.

I've watched a friend on meth turn from a handsome 20 year old, into a dude that looks like an alcoholic 50 year old at the age of 26, he's so haggard... suffice to say I'm totally put off by that stuff.

Her drug use isn't just speculated about

I think she really was an addict. Saying you got clean if you never even were addicted would be a very weird thing to day otherwise. She's been through some stuff that we don't know much about, she's said that she's lead a very long life. When I first heard of her friendship with Jaime King I thought of Jaime's heroin addiction, they might have bonded over that.

I don't know how I feel about Lust For Life. 
 
The songs on it that I like (Heroin, Cherry, Love, Lust For Life, White Mustang, God Bless America, While The World Was at War), I absolutely love. While the songs on it that I hate (Beautiful People, Groupie Love, Summer Bummer, Tomorrow Never Came), I think are the worst she's ever commercially released.

Get Free is severely overrated 

I prefer the first half of LFL over the second half.

I can't find the screencaps of the twitter rant, but the dude from the Born To Die video called her a speed fairy and shit talked her. And dude's girlfriend/wife (can't remember which) confirmed it was about her.

But really, I'm glad she's (probably) found a good balance with alcohol. It's hard to go back to get back on the occasional/in moderation train after developing disordered drinking.

She drank beer? This is very interesting to me. (I'm partial drawn to Lana because of her history with alcohol, and my own experience in dealing with alcoholism)
In her own words, she has admitting to being sober for a very long stretch of time, and even admitting to wanting to be able to drink again in the future. Im extremilly happy for her if she has finally found that balance in her life where she can enjoy alcohol without fear of a relapse. (Kinda where I am in my life right now.)

These new friends of hers give me really weird nasty negative vibes. Something seems really off about them

Lana looks like she’s come out of rehab when she doesn’t wear makeup.....she goes from a million bucks to looking like heroin addict in debt.

She went to a Bob Dylan concert with him last year so yeah 

As far as we know, she still loves working with him. They were supposed to work on a Broadway together (maybe it’s the Alice soundtrack?) and the beginning of NFR  was written with him. They seem to get along great and he understands and respects her vision of an album. 

Oooooh what if Rick returns for some tracks on the standards album?  Do we know anything on Nowels + Lana, did they end things on OK terms?
 
No hate on Jack but Rick Nowels and Lana are/were a match made in heaven and I hope they work together again

Honestly im so hyped, its like a new lana album for me since i dont listen to any of old american music, i know maybe like 5 songs and the fact that Jack finally isnt a producer i just hope it wont be piano flops only

i dont believe we are getting a cover album, she only said that to make the long ass delay not seem so bad, the same way she announced chemtrails in her QFTC post to make her statement not seem so bad and to turn peoples focus on something else

Unfortunately. I wish we had a better idea of WHEN COCC was coming out. Like how SOON after March 5th? I don't blame this on the vinyl plant not being opened. I think, like someone said previously - I can't remember who, they just aren't pressing HER album until March 5th. Cuz sis literally took forever on deciding if she wanted Dealer on the album, and I'm almost positive that's what the delay is from.

so. with how sorta unprecedented her poetry was. I actually think she's gonna pull thru w this. and direct comm much appreciated yeeess. so. it's coming out on the 10th of dec? 11th for the cover. the 25th's been confirmed?

I know it'll just be a month til we get the cover, maybe some time to even watch the film to get a better grasp of it/just for the sake of.
