understandable but the fact that sia flat out telling an autistic person on twitter "maybe you’re just a bad actor" was in such bad taste  obviously i don't know the difficulties of casting and what not, but she/her pr team really should have seen this coming. i also think sia would've chosen maddie over any other more than capable actor because she has an obvious attachment to her, she's been the main character in Sia's works since like 2014. kinda weird but expected at this point

Understandable. but I think the point is that there is already an underrepresentation of autistic characters along with autistic actors and combined with someone who isn’t autistic writing an autistic character based on research from a group that’s very demeaning towards autism. and a lot of it comes down to misrepresentation for a group of people who already face discriminations.
In comparison to say, jules from euphoria who is a trans character being played by a trans actress and while euphoria isnt written by a trans person hunter (jules’ actress) was able to give her own input based on her own experiences as a trans woman.
what im gettin at is proper (and more) representation is needed in both characters and the people who play them in cases like this which is only one of the many reasons why this film is so distasteful.

Some people doing the most on here to defend an unprovoked transphobic rant, yet again. People said she isn’t Jewish because it’s not as easy as say, converting to Islam by saying a few words and signing a paper, it’s a lengthy process. Really don’t think anyone in the comments was being malicious about her caption... and her randomly bringing up trans ppl all the fucking time is so obsessive and pathetic. 

Not this being the worst example ever. The most personal album sh*t was a marketing selling point her lazy team came up with to somehow sell this half-finished album and Britney only really acknowledging less than a handful of songs which really speaks to how she feels about that album. They put writing credits on there to further their "personal album" narrative. She didn't have involvement in this album whatsoever and would never claim it if she wasn't given talking points. The woman is under a conservatorship and can't even freely express her own opinions unless they are marketing safe approved. 
How is this anyhow comparable to Sky? 
Also I don't think anyone thinks of Beyoncé or Rihanna as songwriting geniuses but they are very hard-working women involved in the process (bey probably moreso since she also oversees the visuals and is very much a perfectionist) which once again can't be said about Sky.

THEY LITERALLY STOP EVERYTHING that could get them coins?) and on top of that she acts like this troubled genius who needs to perfect her craft? Who the fuck does she think she is?
Just say that you are a perfectionist who has all these ideas but you are too lazy to execute them and your label obviously doesn't wanna spend millions on your bullshit for you to end up scrapping/cancelling them so they give you a limited budget but it's too late, you already promised your fans and now you have to blame someone for your failures AND GO SKY.

I wasn't gonna comment on this any further lol but thank you for clarifying what's obvious. The problem is not her singing other people's songs, it's the fact that she gatekeeps the sound and attacks others for being influenced (Nasty Cherry) but what's even more troubling is that she acts like this troubled genius who writes and produces her own music and needs a decade to be able to "perfect her craft" when she basically sings other people's songs! On top of that she gets angry when fans demand the music she promised, acts like she never promised anything and blames everyone else instead of taking responsibility.
Let me just reiterate that point, the problem isn't that she is not the top songwriter and creator of her songs. It's the roleplay of "troubled genius and industry victim" who lies and makes false promises, attacks her own fans instead of taking genuine responsibility, gets upset about other female artists for being influenced and brings them down instead of showing support and takes a decade perfecting "her" craft. Enough with the Fiona Apple cosplay. But let's hear the "she doesn't owe you anything, you're entitled" brigade when she has teased new music, merch, music videos, alternate mixes and whatnot every year since 2015.

Well everything you’ve brought up about why you hate or extremely dislike her is all hearsay from bias sources and coincidences with no actual evidence linking them together. To say you could speculate about her murdering her husband or that someone should disassociate from her because she gives “bad vibes” is immoral imo. She’s a stranger to us so to have such extreme views of her based on no real evidence is not right (again imo). Lana can hang out with whoever she wants.
 
I know that we feel we know everything about celebs because of the media but the truth of the matter is that we know nothing at all. We see what the celeb wants us to see or what the media thinks is a juicy storyline. Who are we to judge when we know nothing about the reality of their lives?
