To me, White Dress has a staying power and is truly up there with West Coast, Venice Bitch, Shades of Cool, Mariners Apartment Complex, and Hope is a Dangerous Thing as Lana songs that remain untouchable. Wow.
 
This whole record is just outstanding and gets even better with each listen (as if that’s even possible)! 

I want Jealous Girl energy for RCS - "Honey, I'm in love with you, if you don't feel the same boy, you don't wanna mess with me" 
 

you know how she mentioned she is “an underdog and will die an underdog and i’m fine with it” 
it makes me think there will be a lot of energy into this album.
underdogs usually always have much to prove in regards to everyone else & i think she’s gonna put all her soul into this project, or at least i can dream. Ultraviolence feels very much also her as an ‘underdog’ & doing her best to prove herself... the visuals/photos/cover. idk i just really don’t want half ass energy. i want full effort into the cover, videos, promo, etc. i don’t want her skirting attention or sharing the spotlight w her friends. 
i love her blue banister post and weird tweets/selfies and obscurity. the mystery always entices me 

Hearing Lana sing so earnestly about her suburban housewife fantasy is actually quite amusing. There's absolutely nothing wrong or surprising about it. Lana is a 35 year old woman after all. It's not her fault that one portion of her ''fan'' base is still stuck in 2012 and want her to sing about boarding schools and Lolita bullshit, while the other want her to become another Dua Lipa. Those ''fans'' need to move on.

Yes! I’m sorry, I’m so late to this but yes, Kali Uchis released Sin Miedo on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at 10 AM PST which I thought was unusual, since albums are generally released on Friday, and she also released that record under Interscope. But since she did it, I don’t see why Lana - an artist who really can do whatever she wants without worrying too much about it - couldn’t!
 
Also haven’t been on here lately but I just wanna say I’m so excited for Blue Banisters! I really do think it’s a song, the lead single from Rock Candy Sweet. The format was the same as White Dress’s teasers and I think if she were to tease a poem, she would just post her typewritten page-scans or post a spoken-word visual. 
 
Since she posted it on the 10th, I feel like it’s going to come on April 30th or sometime next month! Can’t wait! 

I love MAC so much, it's objectively one of her best songs ever. The second pre-chorus' line You can see my heart burning in the distance with its nod to the album's cover with the burning in the background almost always makes me head over to Violet and listen to LA Who Am I to Love You afterwards and it all just fits so perfectly together I could cry.
When Thunder leaked, I compared its bridge to The greatest's burn out. Fire and burning have always been used stylistically for passion. So in a way and very indirectly she tells us with the cover not only about her awareness of environmental issues, but also how much she still loves the city despite the complex relationship she shares with it.
Probably reaching and it also could have already been talked about here. It nonetheless makes me so happy to find something, that intertwines all her projects with each other in such  a way.

If anyone is thinking they hate the album, just listen a few times. Give it a week or a couple days and listen over the next few days. It slowly grows on you and you begin to truly love it. It's grown on me over the last 2 weeks and I'm so glad I heard it before now bc I didn't like it on initial listen but it's so good now

Pre-Pre-Release Threads are typically created once there's an indication than an album is in the works! According to her recent MusicWeek interview, there's one (maybe even two) in the works! Usually this doesn't happen so quickly (except for NFR) but because there is indication and another Pre-Pre-Release thread was highly requested, it will arrive in an hour or two so everyone can have fun in this thread for awhile. Pre-Release Threads come once there's a confirmed title or release date, which could be awhile.
& I can't wait to show you all the new theme! There's a few things I need to adjust and I'm waiting on my design partners to wake up to help me skkkk. But I think you guys will really love it! I'm already using it on my account and.. it's so pretty

I was expecting worse from Pitchfork. Her highest score before NFR was 7.7, so this is just back to normal for her. Which is fine, considering they basically low key called her an Evangelical Christian Republican racist without specifically saying it.
