off-topic but i’m listening to buddy’s rendezvous and goddamn… there’s something about lana’s voice and a sax  i hope there’s some sax on this record

Love love love ocean blvd. I listened to it on repeat on my last flight home after a transfer at the chicago airport on wednesday. It was so gloomy and cold in chicago, but it's always sunny above the clouds. It was amazing listening ocean blvd as the plane broke through the rain and dark clouds and the sun was there right before it set. I don't think I've ever had a more beautiful first listen of a lana song, watching the sun set through the storm clouds on my flight back home

This is going to be one of her best records, bookmark this post 

Have not listened to a single other song since this came out. Lana has blessed us once again. 

this song has me compartmentalizing like what, but when she sings about wanting her turn, not to forget her its like u know those moments when someone is vulnerable w u and u see their inner child and u just wanna protect them ohmygod

That song is just incredible 

Everyone's entitled to their opinions but some people use really rude language to describe something that Lana clearly poured her heart into and is touching a lot of people. Those who don't like it don't have to, but I'd recommend taking more time to try and connect with the song and understand what she's saying. Lana's not looking to make a quick pop song, she's speaking to the soul and delivering a very poignant message that anyone could relate to if they open themselves up to the meaning. If you still don't like it, that's fine but to pretend that your limited effort to connect with something is the gospel truth and everybody else is overhyped and misguided is just ridiculous. 

my old friends from years ago are texting me saying “old lana is back” and they are just casual listeners. 
the aesthetics are profoundly beautiful (ribbons, eyeliner, pout, vintage aesthetic) 
and the song itself is also a dream. idk why y’all think she’s “gone” ?
