I love Ocean Blvd’s cover but I hope it’s a colorful album cover this time, like NFR & HM

Tbh I've never gotten the BB hate. From first listen, it was already my favorite album from hers. It's her most comforting and inviting work, and for me, nostalgic in a sense (especially Violets For Roses, Thunder, Living Legend, etc.). I'm always transported back to first listen every time, and I think that speaks to its warmth and freshness.

The best music is the stuff you aren’t expecting tbh I never would’ve expected most of the stuff we got on Ocean Blvd after Blue Banisters, and so I think people that are saying we are definitely getting piano ballads and/or country are just… wrong? Like we may be getting that but honestly we have no idea and the things she said are very vague and also seems like she hasn’t fully started even creating the album, and we know she can and will completely scrap ideas and albums will change A LOT over the course of creating it. So I think we are in a ride for LDR10 and personally I have a feeling it’s gonna be one of my favorites!

Instead of bitching having profound and intense discussions about the production and mixing and qualities about her latest albums and her producers and pianos for the 994873656478392487th time in this pre-release thread (I'm pretty sure that those discussions occurred more often a couple of eras back too), let's manifest 10/10 perfect brilliant amazing songs with spectacular incredible showstopping ethereal production and beautiful stunning poetic thought-provoking deep lyrics.  we can like write here what would be our dream songs for this album, what vibe should they have, which instrumentals, which topics ect, even if that's in our dreams, I know that all of you have a great fantasy and with our great minds, we can manifest something great!
 
I mean, we can have discussions about her producers but we've had these like every year and where has it led us? nowhere!

My dream is for Lana to make a heist western album (Off To The Races, Kinda Outta Luck, You Can Be The Boss, Queen Of The Gas Station, Raise Me Up, Driving In Cars With Boys, The Trio interlude).
 
Or a space themed album. Aesthetically and sonically. Not unlistenable dance garbage like ChromatiTANK. But beautiful orchestrated songs, ambient electronica, and glitchy sounds (Parts of Tropico, Parts of NFR video, Venice Bitch bridge, West Coast ending, Parts of Fuck It I Love You). She already dabbled in that. A whole album with space sound would be so good. Also, heavy reverbed vocals would work very well with a space album. Would love a return of that as well.

This is her main pop girl era (Ben needed the money). She’s been dropping hints already. No more sad family drama in her songs. She said what needed to be said on Ocean Blvd.
 
The Weeknd collab is already a very positive sign in that direction. We know for sure this song will have a proper beat and tempo. The Weeknd is NOT going to sing on a piano snooze or an acoustic folk song. We WON already .

I mean- I don’t think this album is going to be pop or anything but I think it is going to be like a post LFL era situation where she talked about doing a more folky EP but then the next project we received from her was a 10 minute psychedelic surf rock song with folky undertones. Overtime her ideas develop into more complicated and complete concepts. So I think we are just going to see some sort of take on standard classic country with a Lana twist.

Yeah, she definitely started teasing/showing the Ocean Blvd aesthetic almost a year before the album was announced, with all the bra/boob pics, bows, white and black W Mag shoot, Lanita bracelet, etc. She might be started to conceptualize a new era or is feeling inspired 

Interesting that she used Blinding Lights and recently spoke about talking to The Weeknd, I know I’m being so delusional but I hope we get a collab on his next record. I know all those recent rumors have no validity but regardless I feel like there is a slight chance we might get another song🙏

the idea of releasing snippets of songs your gonna hoard and seeing people who don’t have access to the songs or the means to trade or pay for them go absolutely nuts is what fuels yalls (leakers) egos… and every once and while you do actually leak something and the hype of people enjoying said leak also fuels yalls egos! just annoying losers 

When Lana was nominated for 5 Grammy awards we got Come W Me and Poetry In Motion, when Lana wins, I can see that we're getting a leak too...idk my gut feeling says so  but also we've got New Year's Eve, New Year (2024 - 10 years of UV and 5 years of NFR maybe an outtake from these albums?), Chinese New Year, Valentine's Day, St Patrick's Day, Easter, Lana's birthday, album/song anniversaries...like so many fun events to have a leak!?!?! 
 
Or maybe the leakers are waiting for Gypsy Rose, who knows

The way this leakmas wasn't even that bad comparing it to other years where nothing was leaked for christmas / only 1 demo and a lossless file leaked
 
I personally think Vivian, Heavy Hitter (rehearsal), Star Lux, Platinum Greenwich, and Your Girl mix 11 are pretty cool !!!

Still thinking about this, I wonder if there maybe is (very very unlikely though) Dan Auerbach version or even Rick Nowels version of Driving In Cars because the reason she worked with Paul Epworth during UV era was that the label wanted him to "Adele-ize" the songs to make them more accessible for radios, charts and general public. I mean, that's what happened with Black Beauty.

The fact that this era would've been even more amazing with one or two more videos

based on what we know, lana started working on dykttatuob very shortly after blue banisters released, lead single was released around 14 months after bb's release so we can probably infer that the next lead single will be sometime around may !!
