I read what you wrote about feeling blue and how it led you to posting what you were posting on here, and yes, people have said their piece about that –– but I felt like at your core, you were just looking for some connection, and now you can have that without pretending to be an insider! Be you! 

Although I love all the songs on Blue Banisters, I have to admit that COCC makes more sense as an album than BB does and I’m not surprised it’s not as highly rated by the critics as COCC was. COCC truly deserves 81 points on metacritic and you’ll understand this sooner or later.
 
BB is still a good ass album tho, her whole discography is truly untouchable.

I think I like BBS and IYLDWM the best. 
 
sweet Carolina is actually adorable tho and really good (and I have a one-sided beef with Chuck so that’s hard for me to admit)

I just saw a post about all the critics’ ratings and honestly who truly cares what they say or think? I feel like in most cases, the best albums don’t get rated very high. Fuck the critics, we’re fucking laughing at them 
 
 
Loving this album, the day is grey and gloomy where I am and it matches the album perfectly. Cherry blossom could’ve been an email though  but it’s cute anyway.

I can't say I was expecting If You Lie Down to be the next single, but as I listen to it more, it's a great choice. It's upbeat, catchy and has fantastic lyrics. I can see it getting a lot of play on alt. radio 

So sad to see NME and INDEPENDENT give BB a 80 when they gave COCC 100

Ok here's the deal for the quality issues. I made a survey with different headphones with ranging quality, and also different streaming services.
 
Spotify version is just awful with every headphone. No matter what quality option you choose there's chipping all over the album. The better quality the headphone is the more distinguished the sound is and the more noticable and unbearable the chipping is. With lower quality headphones, chipping is still there but the layers are more compressed so you don't notice it that much.
 
So if we make comparison between services: Apple Music > Youtube Music > Spotify = Standard Youtube Video
 
So if you are listening to Spotify and hearing awful and disturbing chipping noises, don't worry there's nothing wrong with your headphones. I hope they fix spotify soon but I doubt it.

of her last 3 albums, BB is definitely her best. and there are three songs (WW, iyldwm, thunder) that are top 10 songs for me and there are other good songs (violets for roses, dealer, arcadia,black bathing suit, living legend) but for me it is not a top 3 album. if you had put together the best songs by cocc and bb as suggested here, a masterpiece would have been created, but unfortunately there are too many skips on both

Tidal has BB in masters (highest) quality. The sound is amazing, even on those 5 older songs!

i gotta say this album is definitely one of my top 3 Lana albums, along with uv and honeymoon. the atmosphere of the songs is so magical and cozy in a way, i love it so much

In all honesty I was not expecting the album to be THIS GOOD  it’s been on repeat all day 

Love this album.  Violets for roses totally wrecked me.  Lana is a fucking genius. 

Why did no one tell me that If You Lie Down With Me was the jazzy country cutesy softcore blues Lizzy marching band On Our away sequel Pixar movie crying in the backseat bussy princess bop that it is!! What a highlight!
