i mean you can genuinely tell that taylor believes all of the stuff she says about lana i think, she really doesnt have anything to gain by lying considering shes clearly the most popular artist in the world with or without lana, she genuinely respects her as an artist

You cannot deny that wasn’t very genuine and honourable of Taylor and was a beautiful tribute

they just love awarding the most palatable, digestible, basic stuff and playing it completely safe instead of awarding masterful, impactful, groundbreaking work and it's completely embarrassing

Maybe it’s the wrong time to say this, but I can’t help but feel like Taylor’s new album title is an attempt to market herself as a Lana-esque writer…and it’s jarring how this coincides with Lana’s Grammy losses. Really shows you the unfairness of the situation, but Lana is above it all. The fact that she’s still making music and going deeper with time is the true win.
