Thunder can be a big alt/rock hit if it's pushed as a single. The melody is infectious and iconic.

Anyway, I have to say that I am very impressed with Drew Erickson's very rich yet subtle production of Arcadia. I should have expected it because his work on Titanic Rising is gorgeous as well. This makes me even more excited for tracks 5-8. Didn't @lustforlife also tell us that there are choir/orchestra and rock elements in the album? And Chuck saying that Sweet Carolina always makes her cry...I think we're in for a ride.

I knew that boz liked the new Thunder version because he tweeted lyrics of the song (and Cherry Blossom's as well) a couple of months ago. So I suppose it's the other 3 outtakes that he really doesn't care for. He said that he's not a fan of Dealer and I suppose Nectar of the Gods lacking a build-up - assuming it hasn't been reworked since 2013 at all - might have irked him too. I'm curious about Living Legend though because apparently that one is the other "old" track which underwent significant changes along with Thunder.

Lol, Spin has finally seen the light!

Boz's description of Thunder is very intriguing. And I suppose @lustforlife was right once again?! He did say that it's more experimental and Boz saying that the song has a slow build-up with more and more instruments added as it progresses sounds very exciting. I trust Zach Dawes!

I really hope it doesn’t leak early, the COCC leak literally was so anti climactic and by the time the album was released I had been listening to the songs for 10 days

the funnest part of pre releases is those last 3 or so days where everyone is just totally desperate for it

Boz on ATRL (regarding Black Bathing Suit):

Yeah this is intriguing. It's either going to be something completely unexpected from Lana or something in the vein of The Trio interlude. It sounds like a potential highlight I suppose. Unless I'm reading this wrong lol.

Lana is trolling everyone at this point. First Arcadia was supposed to be a piano ballad; then Rick Nowels has credits on Cherry Blossom; then the album was supposed to be digitally released on October 8 but it'll be released along with physicals on October 22. Even Boz is unsure: have the old tracks been rerecorded/remastered/reworked or not? Lol. Now wait till Nikki Lane sings the chorus of Black Bathing Suit accompanied by a mixture of trap beats, trip hop, metal and Hungarian folk.

And Rick posted the announcement of their collaboration on his IG story so this kinda implies that he may have worked on the song a bit more. Lol, I love how uncertain everything feels when it comes to Lana.

as stated previously(dont wanna steal words), the song in general sounds more alive. The production in terms of the instruments and how they are arranged is more noticeable than whatever changes there are with the vocals. I can't speak on it much more than that.

What's up with the dragon emoji that Lana used? Gabe Simon also used it for his IG story.

Living Legend is reworked. It's not as flat and is more robust and airy with some nice strings and piano and drums. Sounds more like it belongs on BB now.  It sounds really nice.

Thunder has some more parts where the piano is prominent. The song starts with just piano and Lana singing and more instruments are added however it still has all the other instruments, it's cleaned up. The chorus is pretty much the same with the background singers.

Just a speculation, but if BOZ has no idea of why Rick is credited on CB, it might be because Lana made last minute changes on it. She could’ve reworked something with Rick just before submitting the album to the label, and BOZ only had the version of the album before this song got reworked. Thus he didn’t have the version with Rick on the credits
