Alright, I had another good night sleep and it gave me hope again to put on my clown makeup again (haha) and say that the W interview is the official start of the era, even if we don’t have an album name. I gathered where she revealed the album name through médias for previous eras I remembered. 
- UV: Tropico premiere, followed by Insta post (thanks, @takemetothegasstation)
-HM was it at an event or through an e-magazine? I do remember that she said she had a record named Music To Watch Boys To;
-LFL: the trailer I think?
-NFR: radio première of VB, one of the two first singles;
-Chemtrails: first mention of said record was through an e-magazine, NFR’s release day, saying she was working on the next album, not wanting to take a break. she casually let the title out in her QFTC post. I don’t even think it was meant to be revealed so soon. Interview magazine, with an official photoshoot, gave us more insights on the project, which was revealed Labor Day Weekend; LMLYLAW followed in October. 
-BB: Insta post with Picsart in April. Triple single release in late May. It was renamed after her Insta post of RCS, the day after COCC was released. 
so… no, we don’t have an album name yet. But why do a printed magazine interview, with professional photoshoot, mentioning the album if it wasn’t coming sonner rather than later? Keep in mind though that the music industry is having a hard time with their schedule (every damn artist recorded during the pandemic and vinyl supply chains can’t meet demand - didn’t Lana herself said it took now five months for vinyls to be made? We’re far from the 90-day period between finishing an album and release, in the LFL era), but I think a single before end of summer is realistic. She’s been real quiet in the past weeks, before her trip, and Jack is going back on tour. Plus the interview gave me the impression that the direction of this album was set and has been only « recently »; before that, last year and early winter, she was maybe more casually recording?

She’s not even bothering to sing on her recordings anymore so she uses an ai to generate vocals for her

Exactly, like not even saying she makes bad music now, she still gave us many awesome moments, visually and sonically and obviously still got it (when she wants to) there’s just this sense of inconsistency with her since norman. But it’s not like she’s a lost cause, her latest outings, esthetic and mood at least same very different from cocc/bb and more old school lana which could be a good sign. We’ll know more once the first single is out 

the thing about 'wordiness' that gets me is she also says she isn't using colors and is just singing what comes to mind. So many of her songs have been super descriptive, and quite frankly she's doing the opposite of what I've been wanting her to do. Instead of going back to a creative writing style she's doubling down on her more recent writing style. I'm trying hard to not be negative, and I'm going to wait until we get a taste of the new music, but I am a little nervous

I’m still really curious about the ‘no color’ statement because how is the album going to both be very wordy, but not descriptive? I’ve never been in the ‘she needs to take a break’ boat but if the writers block she’s had since Norman isn’t gone and she doesn’t feel ‘rich with ideas’ anymore maybe she should take a break and let her creative battery recharge 

She just had her first magazine cover in a while and started talking about her next project, also her public appearances increased over the last weeks…they’re clearly gearing up to something, there’s no way this won’t come in the next 6 months or so… spring 2023 at the latest, I’d say 

I will still believe that she had a few album titles upon her sleeves already, but she is still not allowed to to spill it yet for now (maybe she saves it for another interview) because she decides this time she will drop the info herself little by little without spilling too much.
 
The insiders dont even know a thing this time so this is really possible, she is keeping things in the unknown status. There's no way she can describe the direction of this album, the writing styles without having 1 or 2 titles on shelved.
 
And knowing her, it looks like she is so excited to put this album out as soon as possible. I know she is holding it back soooo hard this time to not posting random snippets on SNS yet.

the more i think abt the album's few (possible) clues and how it might all come together, the more it seems so ambitious to me - i fear we might be in for an experimental, hypnotic, spiritual, highly conceptual masterpiece  automatic writing, the unconscious, surrealism, old hollywood, hysteria, poetry, honeymoon's lush orchestral production?? brian eno and david lynch could never  manifesting so hard
