I would say wait till it gets closer to the date, maybe around a week-ish? By that point or later, most scalpers need to get rid of the tickets they bought or else they won't make money so they might lower the prices back down to around normal

Yes wait. The prices will drop closer to the date. People's plans change, local people may be selling tickets. Don't shell out hundreds for a nosebleed rn!

So this is what I learned and worked for me personally when I was buying tickets for Amsterdam on Ticketmaster.
 
The queue itself opens whenever the sale starting time is, but there is a waiting room which opens 30 minutes before that. Everyone in the waiting room is automatically placed into the queue once it's time. It isn't important how early you join the waiting room, the queue places are randomised. 
 
There's debate on whether refreshing the waiting room just before it ends is helpful or not, I actually did refresh it a few seconds before it ended and was able to buy tickets. (I also did the same thing when I was going for Taylor Swift tickets and also was able to buy them, so idk I'm pretty convinced of it but like I said, as far as I know there's no definitive information about this, it could also just be pure luck on my part.)
 
Once you're in the queue you definitely shouldn't refresh because if you do you will lose your spot and be placed at the back of the queue.

I’m the one with the Pearl headband. Screaming crying throwing up! She signed my lyric book and we chatted for awhile. She was sooo sweet. I told her how much she means to me and got a little choked up and she was like “awww you are so sweet” and touched my arm haha. We talked about lyrics, touring, Oklahoma, and more. She is interested in doing a show here but you-know-who is here. I talked to her dad too. I told him his album really helps my anxiety and Lana overheard and gave me a knowing look haha. She kept saying my name and was just so freaking nice. She took time to talk to everyone even though is was super hot and then she rode away on a scooter!

idk about on lanaboards, but on other social media fans have been complaining about wanting "classic lana" back since uv. ultraviolence was too raw and not pop enough but then honeymoon was too boring and slow and not edgy anymore but then lust for life was too pop and too happy and not authentic enough but then norman wasn't cinematic enough and too unpolished but then chemtrails was too boring and simple and conventional but then blue banisters was too all over the place and unpolished and the songs were written too much like poems. and ever since uv fans claim every new album is the one where she's trying to hard to please the critics. its become super predictable

lana recording music in alabama, a place which was obviously significant to her when she was younger, is honestly so special  manifesting gorgeous, elusive, nostalgic, haunting vibes akin to pin up galore, rehab, oh say can you see, and yayo

If there’s anything I’ve learned in my 12 years of being a fan, it’s that you can’t always tell what an album is going to be like with Lana before it’s released. Especially in these early stages - people have been preemptively shitting on certain genres for the last 3 album cycles and she’s always pulled through with sonic and lyrical surprises.
