What I don't understand, Sky admitted that the album isn't even finished yet but at the same time it's Capitol Records' fault that she can't release it? Why not finish the album first? 

I hated her before but LWYMMD is like the perfect return. The perfect way to play off her corny as also an idgaf attitude. Idk now she just comes off as a genuine cornball to me. My top 3 from rep are

I don't know why people act like Jack dominates her life when most of her singles this decade have been with other producers; Folkmore was predominantly Aaron Dressner + Taylor's Version is predominantly Chris Rowe  This is her first album where Jack does a majority of the production work

Yeah I agree, it's time for ALL OF US to stop believing the whole "the label is sabotaging Sky" story. 
 
It's stupid that many fans still believe that Sky has had a finished album ready to get released since 2015 and Capitol won't allow her lol 
 
It's 2022 and she hasnt finished the album yet. 
 
I'm starting to doubt a 2023 release because back in 2017-2019 she did interviews and tweets/posts claiming the same "new music this year".

dddd sometimes i criticise lyricism but not in that tone lmao wtf is up with them.
i think it's pretty fair to criticise songwriting because it's an element of the song, just as instrumentals, vocal performance, even mixing can be called out. but of course, there are proper ways to signalise that. what does "buzzfeed ass lyrics" even mean

does a critically acclaimed album and her best work (in my opinion) mean that it’s a flop?  but yes Halsey compromised and played the label games and she won!!! Sky should be taking notes!

yes all of this but especially the part about not needing money. like what does she do on a daily basis besides posing with her finger up in front of Capitol? like okay......? what are we supposed to do with that sister?

what would her label have to do with anything?  i refuse to believe they're holding onto a completely finished music video or music. why does everyone believe that shit so easily? why would that benefit Capitol? it's a bit cringeworthy to just believe something like this without questioning it but it's ultimately Sky's fault because she should be more transparent instead of confusing her fans and allowing them to create false narratives and run around on the internet with them.

I like the way she promotes her album more than the album itself. She has a good concept and she's a marketing genius! Other artists can take a leaf out of her book.

The album was not what I expected at all. It's not bad and I do like the production, but I wish the writing were better at times. Something I do love however is how she is constantly surprising us with content. The 3am version was a great surprise! We have to hand it to her: she knows how to throw an era! 
 
Being me, I always get caught up in her promo, so I bought 2 vinyl (Jade Green [I love this cover] + the standard she released when she announced the album.) I tend to play her stuff casually, so I'm sure I'll get my money's worth.

we still don't have a release date, i'm hoping winter so it's only a year and half from bunny and a year from billions. but she needs to announce soon with no more singles given the track list is quite short. 
 
im fine waiting but if we've heard five songs already and have four, id rather wait till release day...
