    Very true- I never bought the chemtrails one but I think much of the same.
    I by chance happened to be online when the assai one dropped for ocean blvd, so I bought it.. and funnily enough it worked out cheaper than the indie preorder, so it actually saved money to cancel preorder for it. But buying it after at high price, I don’t think would be worth it.. though it’s a nice to have for a collector I suppose

    I’m 27.. remember being 16 when BTD dropped and feel like this was prime time to hear that record.. and the albums have aged so well along with me..
     
    I don’t think if I was 13 now I’d really enjoy Lanas stuff? Feels so heavy in an authentic way.. I enjoy it now because I feel like it’s so relatable lol

    Really I think 19 would’ve been an even better age to listen to BTD!
    My stepdaughters 9 and will listen to Lana off her own back  she said she didn’t like A&W because she’s no idea what lanas saying.. I’m thinking.. probably for the best

    My stepdaughters 9 and will listen to Lana off her own back  she said she didn’t like A&W because she’s no idea what lanas saying.. I’m thinking.. probably for the best

    This is why I like this place so much, I have friends who like Lana, but not as much as I do, so talking about her in depth with them is difficult.

    can we take a moment to appreciate that we’re all here because of our shared love of lana del rey… kinda beautiful if you think about it. she will always be my ride or die favorite artist and she’s my biggest inspiration so everytime she releases a new album it feels like im reconnecting with an old friend. this time i think will be one of my favorites. i’m so genuinely excited and happy for this album.

    I think I was just the right age when BYD came out and I definitely feel like every album after that has come just at the right time for me emotionally and mentally. That’s probably why I find it so hard to rank her albums and to say that an album is bad/not worth it etc. of course I have my favourites but on the whole each one is precious for me in different ways. 
     
    I’m putting the next part behind a spoiler tag because I’m discussing death and may be triggering for some
