So true! I remember buying ones for Pearl  Jam and Nirvana in the early 1990s, and it's kind of amazing that something like this would still exist so many years later. It also looks like they've put some effort into this one! (Back in the day,  half of them were trash, and half were really good).

Yess it’s unofficial. It has some random facts but also highlights points of her career/ personal life and features some pictures. It’s kinda cool because it has info about pre-BTD too. Sorry I prob should’ve clarified that!

here’s a few pages of what it looks like inside! (idk if I’m allowed to post all the pages)

Y’all should call your local Barnes and noble if they are going to carry them or did! The stores by me didn’t have them, but a friend of mine had them at the store she went to

Great posts from the both of you. As a death metal respecter and 8-year Lana stan, I do think about these things a lot. It always tickles me when I talk to a fellow metalhead and they say “I fucking LOVE Lana Del Rey!” Also the gym bros who mostly bump metal in their headphones, they seem to be big enthusiasts of “West Coast” as a jam to lift to. She really appeals to so many and it’s cool to be in a community where there is such diversity, but we all can appreciate the gift that is Lana (and her music.) The open-minded metal fans are some of my favorite people. They appreciate classical music (which death metal is very close to, due to the complexity and time signature changes.) I just love seeing a scruffy bearded man with a band logo on his shirt that I can’t read  who says LDR is brilliant. That’s how you know her shit is way deeper and more interesting than that of the mainstream pop girlies, because those types of people seriously nerd out over every aspect of music. To see those types paying her respect is just heartwarming to me.

I don’t think the problem with previous years has been the theme but rather designers and celebrities trying too hard to stand out and being unable to do that within the set boundaries of a theme. There were fantastic examples of theme-related outfits but they were sadly in the minority. However, knowing Lana, I know she will serve and stay on topic. Her “holy spirit” dress was one of the best met gala fits ever

I once talked about the theme earlier, how it suits her new watch

The theme for this year’s met gala being “the garden of time” feels something right up Lana’s lane! I hope she does show up, but I’m not holding my breath

with it being a WEEK away I feel like we’re going to be confirmation soon!

This year she has collaborated with Vivienne Westwood (Pre-Grammy Gala), Louis Vuitton (Oscars) and Dolce & Gabbana (Coachella). If she really is attending there, we're in for a fucking serve!!!!!
