Yeah this rewatch is definitely highlighting how absolutely terrible the mic issue is.
PWYC, Ride, and now Bartender all have super bad issues the second she tries to go high.
Then, she asked for Byron to be turned down 1 and if anything he sounds even louder. Hopefully Coachella will get their shit together next week.
Like yeah she's not serving the energy I wish she would, but she couldn't even perform the way she wanted to because the second she tries to use her voice the mic fucks up

I don’t understand why she shortened west coast but didn’t play the bridge? aka the reason why it’s popular 

It would be better if she sings A&W or something upbeat as soon as she gets off the bike, the intro is good but it’s anticlimactic as she just sits on the stage says hello and move onto Without You. 
 
also it’s time for Bartender and PWYC to retire 

Even with all the mishaps it was still a great show

I was surprised she came out to Gangsta by Kehlani considering she really came for Lana around QFTC and the looting vids. Even more surprised at Kehlani commenting on tik tok that Lana invited her to perform with her at coachella but she “couldn’t make it”

i’m really looking forward to rewatching this tonight when i get back home!! and i’m already thinking of so many moments from the show i want to see again which is telling me the performance will actually age well

I definitely think they're overreacting. Sure, it wasn't her best show, but it's far from being her worst. She's always had the same energy live, it's not new. She's mentioned way many times that she doesn't feel comfortable touring and performing live, yet people seem to forget about that. The technical problems weren't her fault, it was just unfortunate  
 
Well, most of you didn't want Taylor to join her cause she'd outshine her? Well, Billie seemed to have done exactly that according to reviews

Did people really not cheer for Jack or did I just not notice? Cause that could explain him looking like that lol. He seems generally like a pissy person, a few weeks ago he walked out of a interview cause they mentioned Taylor. 

Maybe the performance wasn't that bad as we thought and maybe we were just grouchy/ tired from staying up for hours expecting something totally unrealistic 

Ok sorry for spamming but I’m just catching up and I can’t believe people are picking up on weird vibes like she was pissed or nervous. Got literally none of that irl. She seemed confident and happy. Jack was 100% pissed but Lana was glowing and happy. The way she performed reminded me of earlier performances in her career (maybe 2014ish). Maybe that’s why she seemed sad?  It’s crazy that that’s the takeaway bc it could not seem more opposite in the moment. 

I’m so confused cuz all of us here on lanaboards was complaining ab the performance but everywhere on TikTok is people saying how good it was???

I really don’t think the crowd was quieter than usual I just think the live stream muted out the noise from the crowd. I’m surprised to see some of the insanely negative reactions. She was STUNNING, there were some technical issues but her voice was still gorgeous. I wish she would switch out a few songs but Lana is always going to do what she wants. Her bringing Billie out and the hologram was amazing. I’m looking forward to next weekend and will gladly stay up again!
