People were talking about her fillers a few pages ago. And it has to do with her Instagram as her face is usually in her IG posts. Not trying to be any type of way. Just sharing. Def excited for the new album though and really enjoy reading about you guys decoding the connections in her posts.

I wouldn't be half the fan I am today without her unreleased songs, but ok.

It’s also because many of us are bored with ballads and it seems to be an album full of them is on the way.  Imagine if she shared a snippet of something that sounded like Serene Queen …hype would jump through the roof. Fans were excited when Lana stated she ‘wanted revenge’ that conjured up images of fast paced songs, with fire and shouty angry music  (dealer).  Now it’s just all gone limp, whilst her ballads are beautiful it’s become stale and I’m sad to say predictable.  

I still think those singles were released separately for a reason. Thunder sounds heavily like a cheerful version of UV songs and WW sounds kinda Honeymoon, gives me Terrence loves you vibes for the sound. Considering her last two albums, I wouldn't be surprised if it's a NFR 2.0. or COCC 2.0. It just sucks how versatile her first albums were compared to neverending piano flops. 

So is she blonde again? Does that mean there’s another folk flop coming?

It seemed only appropriate it would leak after all...

And then it was the issue of her...

She didn't even give new dates, or acknowledge the songs we had...

And there there was lanaboards, bored as fuck with no leaks...

Elle moved out all the random posts and banned the gifs spam...

 

My interest is already pretty low, by next year it will be non existent.  It’s pretty lacklustre to wait months and months just for ballads. I’m really done with them and want something else. 

I feel like she's trying to be Bob Dylan rather than caring so much about people's opinions. Authentic music doesn't automatically mean it's good. In most cases it's pretty boring because it's concentrated on the artists deep throughs and personal life rather than the music itself and the majority wants good music with partially deep lyrics. She should separate her music and poetry not mesh them together because we get piano flops then.

It really shocks me how some of y’all never able to CRITICIZE her. Criticism is not hating babies let’s get that straight. Announcing random dates is objectively unprofessional and disrespectful. We should be able to say that. Is she paying y’all or something?

Honestly you’re so right about her not deserving her fan base. The only reason cocc didn’t tank was all the stans who bought the endless vinyl versions and her response was to announce a fake date.

Being disappointed in her for being unprofessional (yes, HER) is NOT the same as hating her. It's WAY past due time that we become sick of the miscommunication... it was funny at first sort of a "Oh, Lana " type of deal, but now it's just pure annoying and unprofessional. Her team should not be allowing her to post things that aren't for sure but they're too busy skyrocketing Dua Lipa to pop stardom to care about ensuring Lana doesn't lose the last people standing by her side. Just because we are fans doesn't invalidate us from speaking out against feeling "mistreated" because we are the ones buying her art and giving her a platform to share it, the least we could expect is some courtesy to stick to a date, but we're not even entirely mad about that... we're mad because she doesn't even SAY ANYTHING when it doesn't happen... like seriously? This is partly the reason I've lost so much interest in her this past year, and now it's just going to keep fans away if she keeps pulling this.

she can be upset without looking stupid as fuck. nearly every woman she names besides camila, kehlani and ariana went through ten times worse than lana ever did and she could’ve made her stupid point without unnecessarily naming women who have it worse than her by just not being white. how many times do people have to explain that? 

To make things worse, there were many people actually trying to educate her without attacking her, about why QFTC is racially insensitive and she was not having any of it. 

I guess if there is something I should be happy about, it's the fact that at least the album isn't not called "Blue Banisters" anymore. That name I really dislike. (sorry)

no ones asking that tho? not a single person on here asked her to hop on tiktok trends or get a #1 on the charts. asking her to at least talk about her music and give a sense that she still cares about her work, just doing the bare minimum isn’t asking her to jump on trends. these types of comments are giving "you want her to be pop and do btd again" when people are just asking for a bit more production value or professionalism. when i say the comprehension issues on here are rampant 

i agree with everything you said. that fame and relevancy won’t stay forever. the gp basically hates her, a huge chunk of her fans unstanned or are on the brink of unstanning. she won’t get a lot of new fans with 0 promo and "repetitive" music. if you discovered lana today through the 3 singles or cocc you probably won’t stan her the way you did years ago. she hasn’t really offered us anything new or fundamentally exciting since nfr. add to that the increasingly messier eras and her unprofessionalism….it’s just starting to get A LOT. even most of us on here won’t put up with her shit eternally. either way she has to reinvent herself, her sound, do something new or different, anything… cause right now it’s just not it. it’s not normal that a majority of a fanbase isn’t even excited for their favs new music and is just mostly either frustrated or having very low expectations. it shouldn’t be like that… 

she scrapped songs so this album can finally be the witchy album we deserve
