Am I the only one who believes that CX1 was flawless with no fillers while CX2 had some songs that fell weak and somehow hurt the flow

Anyway, I just popped back in here to say that I've re-fallen in love with Drunken Babble again. About this time last year I re-discovered it and grew such an appreciation for it, after initially disliking most of it upon my first listen in 2017. Over the past year, I've grown to love it so so much - The 4-track run of Table for Two, You Just Wanna Stay, Never Be Yours, and What They Say is one of the greatest 4-track runs of all time. I keep listening to Never Be Yours on loop and don't grow sick of it - it's such a catchy bop, one of my fave tracks of hers now x

Such a beautiful thing to know that not only was she a talented person but a kind and sweet soul inside and out. She will never be forgotten and I hope Charli uses some of Sophie’s vision to pay homage to her and this genre that she created. 
 
Sophie’s soul will forever be ingrained in this community.

I can’t even capture how girl must be feeling right now. It must hit so hard, especially during quarantine. I wouldn’t blame her if it took months to even mention this (and no I don’t think there should be a time limit at all I’m just saying I wouldn’t be surprised). 
 
I came across Sophie’s gf’s post. God every word made me want to cry. From saying being with her was “the best dream” and how she’ll get to see the cosmos and that she now is an “immaterial girl”. I can’t imagine losing a partner like that. I hope she takes some time for herself as well. 
 
I feel bad for all her friends and loved ones. Sophie definitely is the last person to even deserve death, and it must be devastating for them right now. 
 
I wish there was some sort of festival to honor her name. Fuck, the fact nobody can decide to celebrate her life right now like that grips at me so hard

I think it would be really respectful in the futur to never mention Taxi or XCX World to Charli ever again. Yes it became a meme inside the fanbase, but it will now be attached to Sophie's terrible passing and for her to receive messages remembering the lost of her friend would be awful

she truly created a fortress for PC music and hyperpop music combined.. i remember hearing her music in 2015 thinking of how adverse her music was to the "normal" pop industry. she changed and created an entire sub/genre of music. she did so much for the LGBTQ+ community with her presence and music, and her legend will live on, i know that for a fact. i'm still in shock over this. i'm wishing the best for her peers. this seemed to happen out of nowhere and she was so young

Since she died in Athens, her death literally sounds like a myth of a girl trying to reach and talk to the moon. I hope she did see what she wanted. Sophie was indeed a goddess. Love her always and forever

For me, I’m reflecting on how impactful Product was on me and my friends when it came out and how things have changed and I have grown. Continue to be good and kind to one another

I agree. I don't understand how she's breaking records left, right and centre with people only knowing her from a disney show and... tiktok? No one cares for disney stars that much. I like the song but I can see right through the payola. 

i mean, one of the other writers having a demo of the song is hardly proof of her being a fraud? unless there's more evidence (ie. actual proof that she never penned any of the tracks), then i'm wary of casting stones

Halsey is a fraud herself but has been able to get away with it so far. She doesn't write her songs either. I won't get into it here but go a few pages back on the Halsey thread to see what I mean.
Is Sky rich or comes from money? For a person who doesn't do anything how does she live? Eat?

Sometimes I feel bad for laughing at her situation, we will never really know the full truth, as much as we want something she really owns us nothing, I think it's fine to express your opinion on a music forum (cuz she probably won't even see this shit) but it's definetly not ok to go and directly attack her on social media. Girl obviously struggles with something, something is holding her back. I think it's ok to be a fan of someone's music, but freaking out over someone that would probably wipe her ass with your face is a bit too much. The pressure from fans and stans is obviously not working 'cause we would already have the album by now if she needed to be pressured. I mean she became a laughing stock at this point and she knows it. 

We know how upsetting the whole situation is with Sky not releasing music during all these years, but honestly...
