where is the album

I used to work at a Whole Foods, and we could play whatever music we wanted in the bar, it was its own little part of the store. I used to play only Lana whenever I worked in there. One time Lolita was playing and this woman was like "I feel bad for you that they make you listen to this awful music"

Could someone explain the witchy aesthetic/sound to me? Like what does that even mean? The older tracks and outtakes from the album strike me as being more sci-fi inspired more than anything.
Also where did the idea of the original LFL being witchy come from? I only ever started hearing that when Lana released the LFL album trailer. The album we know now as LFL was already completed by then so the purported concept change (based off the album trailer) doesn’t make sense to me.
