NFR is definitely stripped back than the other albums but I'm gonna wait to listen to the songs in full because we might get some good guitar riffs somewhere...

LFL feels so out of place now that NFR is coming out. It sounds even more like a fan made playlist rather than an album. I’m glad she’s back on track and making the most amazing songs which actually sound good put together. LFL is officially cancelled!!

Anyways..

I can’t stop listening to the snippet either. I love them all so much but Fuck it I love you. It’s a cute song but I can’t get into the way she sings the chorus.. it just sounds weird. I also don’t like HTD’s production.. other than that I can’t wait to listen to the album in its entirety. I just don’t like 2 out of 14 songs so I’m satisfied.. and I might change my mind once I get to hear those in full

-No In Mah Fee-fees, BPBP, and So Good instead of Summer

-Less trap beats

-A cohesive tracklist

-A different cover

-TNBAR and Yosemite

Isn’t it a bit early to judge the production of the songs based on 30-second snippets? Again, nobody predicted the guitar and synth explosion coming from VB based on the snippet Lana posted in the first place.

Hope is stripped back a lot, but it closes the album and doesn’t need anything else in my opinion to be more poignant.

seriously, if LFL was nominated for a grammy, i actually believe that NFR can be nominated too, maybe even for AOTY (the grammys are pathetic though either way i just want her to attend)
