what's the next date we're counting down to? Tuesday?

reminder of this little gem:

  Reveal hidden contents

You know, in this town an artist really needs a lot of space when they're trying to create something special. A place to cultivate a world of their own, far away from the real world that's around them.

Luckily for me, I live right inside the middle of the 'H' of the Hollywood sign, and this is how I spent most of my nights: perched high above the chaos that swirls within the City of Angels below. Now don't get me wrong, I love to dip my toe into the muck and the mires of the city every now and then, especially on Tuesdays. But truthfully, when I'm in the middle of making a record - especially now, when the world is in the middle of such a tumultuous period - I find I really need to take the space for myself, far away from real life to consider what my contribution to the world should be in these dark times.

So each morning I have the luxury of asking myself, "What shall I cook up for the kids today? Something with a little spice? Something with a little bitterness but is ultimately sweet? Or shall I take the day off and turn down the fire, and just take a moment to send my love to them over the ether?" Because sometimes just being pure of heart, and having good intentions, and letting them be known is the most worthy contribution an artist can make.

So, even though these times can feel a little bit crazy, they're not so very different from what other generations have experienced at one time or another before. Amidst all the uncertainty, and as we transition out of one era into another one, there's no place I'd rather be than smack-dab in the middle of 'Hollyweird' making this record for you. Because you and the music, and this place are my love, my light, and my lust for life.

Interview Magazine said they're releasing the full shoot and interview officially on Tuesday so yea I'd say so.

Plus Lana will probably post about it so she may give us a tidbit of info. and we may hear about or even see the video she mentions in her last Instagram bio. I'm trying not to get my hopes up because I'm expecting it to just be a behind the scenes of the shoot but you never know (especially with her tagging a professional director alongside her brother)

omg. Pawn Shop Blues reworked...

Well, I pawned the earrings that you gave me
Gold and made of flowers dangling
And I almost cried as I sold them off
And I don't mind living on tomato and oranges, no, no” makes sense... the country album and everything she said... PSB (tomato version) is coming...

i know it literally will not happen, but something like this please:

oh my. This gives me slight Suspiria Remake vibes, which is 1000 percent something she should do. I mean she already came for Radiohead once, might as well full circle the witch soundtrack. This is very cool. However as I listen and type, if Lana did something like this sonically (used the word) the lyrics would hurt too much. This would be seriously dark shit. Im not ready for apocalypse Lana, and no i don't think we've met apocalyptic Lana yet

Suspiria's remake has such a gorgeous soundtrack, adored "Unmade"! I would love to hear Lana make something in the vein of that

Woof Unmade, what an emotional explosion (wink to those who saw it) yeah id love if she fully leaned into something like that, or channeled her incredible Season of The Witch into an album. That cover was perfect, she sang as the witch herself, such a twinkle in her voice there. Fall is her season but she knows the melancholy of a fading summer, i think thats why she chooses these times to release. Shit, im not ready for this album!

Couldn't have said it better myself, Season of the Witch was great, and after finding out COCC's title I was kinda expecting an album sounding like that song, I'm not sure now but she'll slay us anyways

@past the bushes when I saw the pumpkin patches in the shots for her video I fell off my couch. Ive never been to a country club or know its aesthetic besides film clichés, so i don't see a crazy fall connection, but im so hyped for whats about to happen. I do hope Guillermo del Toro requests her again for one of his films hes involved in. If this is her witchiest album, it will ascend the throne as Honeymoon cecedes and dukes it with NFR

She's really great at movie soundtracks, huh?

And yeah we're always looking forward to a witchy album, so here's hoping we get that one day!

I would really like to hear Lana cover “Hurt” by Johnny Cash/9 inch Nails. I would also die for a sultry, twangy version of “Have You Ever Seen the Rain” or “The End” by The Doors.
