i am still optimistic that the album will be released this month, the magazine gave us that confirmation, and we do have a video coming out. the mysterious new video doesn't seem to be a music video, but we don't know for sure what it could be, maybe a behind the scenes look at the photoshoot, maybe it will contain a new snippet, but it's still something to look forward to. even if the album is released in october, it's better than having to wait another month, or until next year. i think this album could suit the october, spooky aesthetic.

The interview between Jack and Lana didn't happen until the end of July, and I assume they needed to format it into the magazine which probably happened in early August. They knew the album was definitely not coming on the 5th by then, so I don’t think the September release date note in the issue was a misprint. I think it was just delayed by two or three weeks so she could add Dealer. Otherwise, everything else was done and ready to go. She literally recorded and added Change in 6 hours right before the album was due, it would take a lot less time to add a song that’s already been done. I’m still holding out on this month, and if I’m wrong, then oh well! Still got the album to look forward to!  That doesn’t change!

Doesn't it say in the mag "later this month" and the magazine itself wasn't even released yet on  the 5th of September...

Interesting, maybe they caught wind of the 25th date too. Either way I wouldnt put too much into what magazines say seeing as we can't put much into what ms grant says

i forgot who mentioned, but was it really her management that wanted to delay the release? does that mean. that she could possibly wanna leak some stuff herself? bc that'd b like fucking the system and making the fans happy, to trickling down to her managers getting a cut just saying

Maybe she took more time to add Dealer because she said she thought the song was really good but not perfect yet, and she found a way to make it perfect!

@IanadeIrey ok so Sheridan didn't post anything last night but he did post at 12pm EST 2 hours ago. So it seems like he's posting every 4 hours 3 times a day. 12pm/4pm/8pm

 

Which would mean we're either getting something at 12pm, 4pm, 8pm tomorrow EST depending on which pictures he posts. He's posted all of them now (unless he'll repost the cover picture without the text over it)
