ehh she's released a song on this day before, i dont know why she has to be silent, i get september 11th is a tragedy and all but, if we're going by that logic then people should remain silent every single day of the year because tragedies happen all the time at every second

Maybe she did but September 11th is a huge remembrance day in the US.  If she just released something that would be one thing but a rambling out of context Twitter or Instagram post would not go well.

she planned to release 3 EP’s to make 1 big album. she released the first EP, then nothing else. not a word about the project for over a year. the entire album ended up leaking earlier this year, and now she has to completely remake the album. still no official release date for it yet either. we heard the term “she is miley cyrus” for the first time today in over a year.

She’ll definitely go back there thematically but doubt she’d ever go back to that sonically. The production of the latter 2 songs is perfect for those songs, but it would come across as gimmicky for a woman who’s approaching her 40s

 

idk if you only mean those songs, but some stans beg lana for BTD 2.0, but that album is reflective of a less mature lana who was still writing about skipping classes and her teachers, which just wouldnt work out today
